[Smudge]

Smudge just smirks as Degnar mentions the walls. Without a word, he unzips the guitar case and pulls out his fireaxe, the token of his noble order but doesn't activate its hidden powers.

He wasn't going to concern himself with something as simple as a wall.

Instead, he eyes up a particular section and with his left hand, runs it across the surface, feeling its bumps and natural lines. "This is where yews fall down," he comments before a mighty backswing of his axe, the muscles in his arms and back responding by seemingly flaring with new strength. With all his new might, Smudge swung the axe at the wall, ready to tear this motherfugger down!

Degnar watched at his Motley mate took down the wall with one powerful swing, certainly impressed by the Ogre's strength even if his facial expression did not show it. "That was one hell of a swing Smudge," he said to the Ogre. As the Tunnelgrub caught a whiff of the pungent smell, his nostrils flared up a bit. Whatever it was its source, it was certainly not very pleasant. Then again, the Darkling was used to all sorts of strange smells down there. After all, the path to the Hollow was through Sacramento's sewage system.

"I'm guessing you are calling dibs on that room," he said to the Blightbent, the tiniest of smirks forming on the corner of his lips.

As the smell hit his nostrils, Smudge didn't flinch. Instead, he spat through the gap. "Yeah, man, sounds 'bout right." Carefully, the Ogre stepped through the gap in the wall to inspect his new lodgings.

Degnar followed close behind his motley mate, just in case something dangerous lied on the other side of the wall. After all, they were sworn allies, and he'd hate to leave Smudge on his own if there was some sort of threat awaiting him on the darkness of the newfound room. "Find anything interesting?" he asked, his black beady eyes scanning the room.

Spotting the bundle, Smudge stopped. With axe in hand, he tightened his grip around its shaft and spat.

"Oi! Fugger! Ya know ya in my bedroom, righ'?" he bellowed across the stinking room.

Degnar blinked his eyes a couple of times, trying to get a better look at the source of the putrid smell. At first he thought it was a Hedge beast of some sort, but he couldn't quite identify what the thing was. Unsure of what the bundle in the corner was, the Darkling pulled his bow from his back and an arrow from his quiver, placing it carefully on the bowstring in case things got nasty. "If it didn't know before, it certainly knows that now," he said in response to his Motley mate's words. A little humor couldn't hurt, right?
