Weeding Out the Problem

Perry's eyes snapped back to Harvey and Katrin. "Someone just used a Seperation contract," Perry hissed quietly. There was little reason for anybody here to have used that contract set given their circumstances. A snap judgment as he ran through what those contracts did...

There weren't many logical answers, and those that made sense weren't good. "We've got company," the lawyer whispered to the Winter Queen's party, looking at the door. He didn't see the threat, but he was sure it was there. His head scanned around, assessing the exit options.

As Perry revealed what he had felt, Katrin turned to the Sun Banisher and gave him a quick nod. "Harvey will check things out, yes?" she said to the group, seeming to be perfectly calmed regardless of the information the lawyer had just shared with her. "The rest of you stick close by. Were any of you followed on your way here?" Her icy glare moved from one Lost to the next, as the Winter Queen wondered who may had lead an intruder to her store.

Harvey return his Queen's nod with one of his own, standing up immediately and reaching into his coat to pull out his gun. The Shadowsoul walked away from the group, beginning to scope out the place. While the shop wasn't all that big, there was a large collection of antique shelves, furniture and trinkets all over the place. If someone was hiding inside, it was likely that they were using one of the large bookshelves as cover.

Okay this is creepy. And not good.

With the ice cold glare staring at everyone Alec starts to fear he might have been followed. But he would have noticed, right?

Then with Harvey walking around, the Woodblood would describe his feelings as being nervous.

Perry nodded his agreement with Lapsley. There was no way they could be certain. "I made a car switch and got quite lost on my way here to lose any tail, but..." He motioned to John. "Anything's possible." Emerald Bullets flicked over to cover Harvey, worried for the other Shadowsoul. He wanted nothing more than to leave. Options flicked through his mind a mile a minute.

As the group sat still answering Katrin's question, the sounds of something collapsing to the ground and breaking could be heard nearby. The room was filled with absolute silence after the disturbance in their vicinity, giving an eerie feeling to the Lost within the antique shop.

Magnus scowls as he glances around the room. There were so many fragile things present. If only it were a few hours later he would be able to protect so many of them.

To the Winter Queen's question he shrugs with a grunt. The Wizened couldn't be certain he wasn't followed, but he was fairly adept at moving around unnoticed. There was always, of course, someone better.

The there is the sound of something breaking and Magnus winces in sympathy and concern. He turns toward the sound and produces his knife. It wasn't much of a weapon, but if the Queen and the others needed time, he might be able to buy a second or two.
