Surprised himself by the turn of events, Miach didn't expect his attack to connect, nor the resounding feeling in his arm that followed a landing strike. I know ! did he reply to the woman, his own eyes wide.
He was now open to the Hierarch though, and she didn't miss his ribcage, stopping his breath short. The Acanthus kneeled under the blow, and felt that his body would be starting to strain soon. The next time he would be hit would be the last. But perhaps luck would bring him farther ? He staggered forward, feinted left, then truly attacked left a heartbeat later. Another narrow miss !
