Anyone who is interested in Archery has already seen the stretch of the building that shall be used for the competition. At the far end of the hall there is a line set up, along with practice bows and sets of arrows. Reverb strolls over toward the archery section and cant' keep a shit eating grin off his face as a song pops into his head. And of course there was no way he couldn't not sing it. The intro song from the greatest Disney movie of all time. Robin Hood.

Animus makes his way to the archery range, musing on how he'd gotten involved with the sport. It seemed a strange thing and yet, it was comfortable. He'd have to thank Vae at some point.
The Thyrsus glances around for a moment before giving Reverb a respectful nod. The phrasing with regard to cheating was interesting, to say the least. But the rule was simple; never assume your opponents will fight fair.

Archery? Sure why not. Toren walked to the far end of the hall where the lineup of bows and arrows were set up. He waved a hello to the others participating and rather enjoyed Reverb's song. Though archery itself was a potentially dangerous sport he rather thought he would be able to point the arrows in the correct direction.

Although he had only seen a bow and arrow fired once when he was a child, he at least remembered the way that bowman had fired. It never ceases to amaze me what things turn out to be useful later in life... He raises an eyebrow when he hears a man singing what he thinks was the intro song to Robin hood. "That robin hood? Play it again, Vince... While it was unlikely anyone would get the reference, Orpheus was going to have his own fun even if he was likely to send someone to the hospital in the coming rounds

Miach's footsteps brought him toward the archery range, and he was no little surprised to see that many others seemed interested in the event too. Well, he couldn't know for them, but he at least hoped to enjoy his very first time firing a bow since Africa. With any luck, he had learned something from the few times he had managed to exchange with the locals outside of his work as a doctor. He would see soon. The tall Acanthus nodded to his two fellow mystagogues, as well as toward Reverb. Animus, he regarded with a mixture of fear and awe, and his nod was slightly different, if there was anyone to pick it.
Just as he was finished, he picked up a bow, an arrow, and started checking if they fit well.

Leo approuched the archery range, unsure as to what to expect. He gave a respectful nod to each other competitor as he approuched the bows. He had never used a bow before. Hunting deer was a fairly regular passtime back in Maryland, but he had always used a rifle and was never very good. He grabbed one of the bows and an arrow to see if he could do anything martial with them. After a few minutes he seems to get the hang of them, though he is still obviously not experienced in this particular event.

Vaeltia was actually surprised at the number of people who were interested in Archery, she had thought that it was going to be just her and Animus standing at the line. Especially since Ahirman was gone somewhere. But the fact that there was at least one other person who could hold a bow and didn’t think it worked like a Gun was a pretty awesome thought.
She pulled a bow off the stand, and frowned a bit at the weight. She had been the one to put it there, but it didn’t make it any more comforting that she wouldn’t be using her own recurve. At least she knew where the arrows came from. She pulled a small quiver off the rack as well and buckled it onto her hip.
This was her sport, and it was always good to be comfortable.
“You know Miach ( Bigpaw ), they do all fit, I made them that way.” she said before walking over to Animus . “Ready for this?” A grin crossing her face as she thought about the first time she had seen the Thrysus shoot.

Miach was idly toying with the arc, his mind racing back to happier times with Menwel, when his train of thoughts got interrupted by Vaeltia. He hadn't even seen the woman coming. It took a short while for his mind to actually register her words, and he exclaimed his surprise You made them ?. He looked at the arrows with new eyes, full of surprise. Looking around, he realized that they would be at least seven in this event. Damn... he hoped he wouldn't be eliminated too quickly, he wanted to have fun with those before.

The Thyrsus picks up a quiver and bow, giving the string a light tug to test the draw strength. After a moment, he gives Vae an appreciative nod. She'd put no small amount of effort into this.
"I'm ready."
