Crap, Crap, Crap! Orpheus stumbles as soon as the flag waves to start the foot race. Thanks however, to his stamina, he was able to catch up fairly quickly, coming in at around the same time as Toren, leaving him at least on par with his fellow Mystagogue.

Running,rather athletics in general, were not his forte. The Scientist remembers quite vivedly how much trouble he had keeping up with most of his high school and college compatriots for extended periods of time, even though he was never out of breath, he just didn't have the leg strength to keep up in speed. None of that matters now... As much as things had gone. He was a mage now, and noone from his past life could understand him now. This was the time to stay cheery and such.

"Damn..." He huffs, breathing heavier than the norm "Good Run I guess, gotta stay in shape..."

Leo flies past the rest of the group from the start, only to gain more momentum as he continues. However, that momentum begins to vanish quickly as he putters out towards the end, crossing the finish line just before Reverb. If he had to run just a few more yards, Reverb may have been able to catch up.

Leo was almost certainly a physically oriented man. Most would expect that from a young Arrow mage, but he was also only twenty years old, in great shape, and obviously enjoyed that run. He let out a small smile as he crossed the finish line, panting heavily as he moved out of the way to the side of the finish line. He watches as Reverb, Orpheus, and Toren crossed the finish line. He listens as Orpheus speaks, and manages to stand up right just long enough to hold his hand out to the man. "Don't worry *pant*, it was still a good race.*pant*pant*" He says in an honest display of good sportsmanship.

Noctina runs and focusses on her own performance not really looking around or interacting with those around her, and although she ran her mind constantly wandered to her last dream distracting her from the effort.

Vaeltia was no professional when it came to running, but anyone of her profession had to know how to do it. Besides she had always found sprinting fun, or at least good exercise.

It was all in the pacing.

First it was staying closer to the back then moving to show them that she could run and wasn’t intending on walking the entire way. Then that small turbo boost at the end. And to think she hadn’t gone off and cheated or anything, because she was just that awesome, and random.

There was one thing to running in skirts. And that is that it’s difficult. You have to know where you’re putting your feet before you do so, otherwise the fabric gets caught and you end up on your face. This is generally what tended to happen to the Acanthus hierarch when she ran in skirts, but not today.

Instead of tripping her the skirts just made her move slower, and unfortunately had her eating the dust of many of the people she was racing against. At least it was a better exercise than some of the others she had experienced.

One didn’t normally run like this, normally it was climbing in skirts for the failsafe of interesting ‘no shit there I was’ stories after wards. And for the fun of watching the native’s eyes bug out when someone in a bright pink sarong fell two hundred feet.
