As they saw the spirit, John tried not to judge the spirit also, but it was difficult. The way it manipulated the lesser spirits with its announcements just seemed wrong. On it, he thought to the others as he examined the spirit.

As the Lunes whispered to him, Chaplain passed the knowledge directly down the mental link to the rest of his pack.
We are going to have to be cautious. It will need all our talents in dealing with this situation.

Ahh, so this fucker ain't no Magath then, said Dale over the mental network. It is still one fucked up lookin' spirit though, that's for sure! And a strong one at that...I can't take him on my own. The Rahu didn't sound all that upset about those last words, if anything, there was a hit of excitement in his voice. After all, he was really looking to throw down next to his pack, see how they all worked together in a situation like this. Yet, he wasn't sure if the rest of them were planning on pouncing the ugly thing.
So...what's the plan boss? he asked over the telepathic link. We gonna play nice with this thing and try to talk to it? Or are we gonna tell it to get the fuck out of our turf? There was no question where Dale's mind was at, as his predatory gaze fixated on the twisted greed spirit in front of them. Man, that thing is ugly!
Digger stepped forward, his head held high as he strips off his shirt and vest, letting his brands, his scars and his tattoo's show. I would love to run up and slaughter the thing, but we are just a bit out numbered with all these little bastards running around.

One of the fleshy heads snapped up, staring intently at Digger for a moment. One of the mouths on its torso opens, and shows off pointed teeth.

It has a surprisingly nasal voice when not speaking through the microphone.

Chaplain almost smirked at Child. There was something almost whiny about the spirit like a spoiled brat who was given everything it ever wanted without any of the hard work.

Mammon? Skaald's thought is clearly introspective, but is also shared with the pack. The name causes something in him to recoil and his hackles to rise. It's a good thing, then, that he doesn't have much in the way of hackles in Dalu. He continues the thought intentionally over the link. That name, something about it isn't right. We should be very cautious.

The Rahu continued to glare at the spirit, a feral intensity in his eyes. You know Digger, we may be outnumbered, but I get the feeling that if we take this fucker down, the little ones won't even know what the fuck to do next, he said to his Alpha over the mental network, clearly not in the mood to play games with the spoiled spirit.
I don't trust this thing one bit.
