Digger sat in the cab of a truck as he backs a trailer into the open door of the old abandoned warehouse. Once inside he steps out of the truck and looks around, "Yep, this place is pretty shitty." he says. And to be honest, its true it is indeed shitty. The place is rundown. It hasn't been maintained for some time. The floor is covered with dirt and dibree, most of the walls windows are broken out, and over all it just looked, well, shitty.

The city was preparing to have the place torn down if it didn't sell in auction. But Digger snatched it up after paying a visit to the other side. There was a locus here, and a spirit willing to work with them. So all in all, this place was a Alpha's dream. Not to mention that it had plenty of space for all the stuff that his pack was interested in. Skaald could have a workshop, Sin and D could have a indoor gun range, sound proofed to keep the pesky neighbors away. Dale could set up a gym area and John could do some kind of library or something. Good part about his beta is, he is versatile.

So anyway, D makes his way to the trailer and begins unloading sheets of 3/4 inch plywood and various other lumbers. Thankfully as well, his pack could do most of the interior work themselves. And the other good part about his place, the roof, and the skylights, were all still in good condition.

So after all the inspections by building managers, electricians and what not, the Warehouse was deemed usable. That's the good part about these old buildings. No matter how cosmetically shitty they end up looking, the frame, the Iron, nothing was wrong with it. And the foundation was solid. All very good things. Now what they needed was some work to get done, and one thing Digger loved besides motorcycles, cigarettes, alcohol, guns, and pussy, is a hard days work.

Pulling up on his trike, Chaplain looked around at the exterior of the warehouse before switching off the engine. It certainly looked decent enough, and with some care and attention, the Ithaeur was certain it would make a fine den for the Crusaders.

Spotting his Alpha, Chaplain headed over to help Digger unload the truck. "By Luna's good graces, Digger, how did you find this place?" he chuckled as he began to slide some planks from the truck.

Skaald pauses as he first sees the warehouse. Well, it sure doesn't look like much, but appearances are deceiving. Besides, that's a big space. Could be useful.

He strides up to where he sees his alpha and beta are already starting to get to work. Without hesitating he immediately starts helping unload the supplies.

"Looks like it'll take a lot of work. That's good. Builds character - both for the pack and the place."

Dale was the next one to show up, casually walking up with his hands in his pockets. He whistled once as he took a quick look at the warehouse. "The place's big, I'll give ya that," he said to Digger with a quick grin. "How does it look from the inside?" From what he had seen, the warehouse did look like it was in need of some serious remodeling, but that was the beauty of being in a pack. The Rahu knew that they'd work together to get this place back into shape.

"I'm guessing you brought enough tools for all of us, right?" he asked their Alpha as he inspected the place from the outside.

Digger turned to John, "Estate Auction. If it didn't go the city was going to have it condemned. Got it for a steal since none of the other people there wanted a building this big. To be honest, I wasn't all that pleased with the size, but its in a good place with the right activity and its solid."

Digger unloaded a bunch of push brooms and dust masks and some other tools, "Oh yeah Skaald, its gonna be a ton of work. I don't know about you bitches though, but I am excited. We're Crusaders, and this is our castle."

"Skaald and Dale, what your gonna do is go through the place and find any crap of use and get it all organized so we can see what came with. There is a roll off dumpster coming, so we are gonna be able to just dump the garbage and not have to worry about the shit."

Digger looked around, "There are a few rooms and stuff that will probably need to be gutted cause most of the wood is rotted out. All the metal is still good, but any of the rooms are mostly fucked." Digger pulled a wheelbarrow out of the bed of the truck.

Skaald nods. "Well, at least that way we'll get a chance to put it together the way we like. We should get a big-ass oak table to sit around like the old mead halls. If we're feeling really ambitious we could put in a fire pit with a rotisserie spit." Hard work was not something Skaald balked at. At least not anymore. Seven years as blacksmiths apprentice who just also happened to be a highly respected Uratha ritualist tends to teach one to appreciate hard work.

Without much further ado Skaald sets to work. He shifts to Dalu form once inside. After all, while one might appreciate a hard day of work, one also appreciates anything that might help make it easier.

don't know if it'll mean anything, but thought a roll would be appropriate.

John laughed, loudly, at Digger's castle ideology. It was certainly a good one.

"I'll tell you what would be good in here," he commented as they began to carry planks of wood inside. "A library with a punchbag, the perfect combination of mental and physical."

Dale chuckled at the excitement that both Cahalith were showing, shaking his head slightly. "Y'all are really taking this to a whole new level," he said, letting out another chuckle. "But I'm down with it. Big ass oak table, or whatever the fuck we end up putting in there!" With those words, the Rahu gave their Alpha a nod and followed Skaald inside.

Once inside the warehouse he also shifted into Dalu, figuring it would allow him to carry and move more stuff around. "Alright, let's split up to cover more ground," said Dale as he gestured to one side of the warehouse before walking away in the opposite direction.

      just following Swift's example...even if it doesn't matter :P

"Fucking Creeper stop reading my mind." Digger says to John in a joking voice. Digger then goes back to unloading the lumber. "Skaald, a don't worry about sweeping up, I am having a Skid Steer with a sweeper on it delivered. Work smarter not harder." As Digger grabs the next piece of 3/4 plywood he sees the roll off being delivered. He gets in his truck and backs up the truck into the warehouse. Once out he yells to John from across the warehouse, "John have them leave it outside to the left of the door so its not in the way!" Shortly there after the Skid Steer was delivered. Both the bucket and the sweeper were on the trailer.

Kaz gave me the go ahead to just narrate this scene

Dale and Swift spread out and set to work. They find mostly crap. Scrap metal, crap wood, some old tools and car battaries. It looks like this place was once a machine shop for heavy equipment or something.
