Aenigma arrived at the location along with Miach, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. He took a quick look around as they stood outside the fence. Once he had confirmed that the coast was clear, he turned to the Acanthus. "Here, let's make sure that we don't call too much attention to ourselves," whispered the Warlock.

He envisioned the Imago of the spell in his mind's eye, focusing on himself and the Enchanter as he wove the spell together, imbuing some of his own will into it. Calling down the powers of Pandemonium, Aenigma finished his casting with a little smirk forming on the corner of his lips.

As yet another spell entered his Pattern, Miach could feel the weight of the various effects starting to take their toll on him. He knew things wouldn't be easy from now on, but at the same he felt more secure. Hopefully he would be right. He nodded in thanks to Aenigma, and started rounding the house, his eyes looking for the easiest place to enter the mansion. From time to time, the Acanthus stopped to check on his fellow mystagogue, and the light from the house. Someone's awake was not good news for their endeavour.

In the window the light flickers only so often, and the the grounds are still quiet, almost completely undisturbed by the appearance of the two mages. Across the lawn everything seems quiet, almost eerily so, not a single night bird or even insect seems to be out at the moment and for a moment both mages feel an odd pulse of something sends chills through them.

The strange sensation caused Aenigma to quirk an eyebrow slightly, as he wondered if it was the side effect of that hedge magic the kid had told them about. He turned to Miach and whispered, "did you feel that too?" Whatever it was, it wouldn't stop him from accomplishing what he had come here to do, but it would certainly be good if he knew what he was up against.

Miach had indeed felt this tingle, but he was not sure about its meaning.

Yes, indeed. Seems like there's more to it than meets the eye.

It wouldn't be so easy now, would it ? Sometimes the Acanthus how much more he would have to learn before feeling easy at last with the depth and width of the World. It was part of what made it interesting, too.

The Iron gate seems to be charged some how, like a line of power running through it.

Miach notes this as a form of electricity moving through metal. Although something is pulsing at your unseen senses

In addition, Aenigma notices that although it feels like a slight electromagnetic pulse that there is something else underneath under it all.

While Miach couldn't exactly pinpoint what was wrong, it was eminently clear that the place had been warded. He turned toward Aenigma, and nodded toward the door before whispering. Hedge fence ? to his fellow mystagogue. According to what Aenigma had said earlier, those hedge magic protections worked only so long as their physical anchor in the world was whole. Would they just have to dent the gate to discharge the power ?

Aenigma shrugged in response to the Enchanter's question. "Probably, but I'll rather be sure it isn't something else," he said as he glanced at the fence for a moment. He took another look around, and was grateful there wasn't anyone around to question what they were doing there.

The Warlock chanted a few words, careful not to be too loud just in case. He empowered his casting with some of his own mana, as he called on the Supernal to grant him its vision. Once he had finished casting the spell, the young Mystagogue looked over to the fence once more, studying its resonance closely. At first he had some difficulty, but then things get clearer as he focused on the task.
