(1209) AFD: Leo, Vaeltia, and Weavebreaker

Vaeltia smiled at the two new people. “Talon Vaeltia, Vae works fine though.” That should be enough. “Pleasure to meet you Weavebreaker, and....other guy.”

Finally another female in the Arrows.

She was about to direct the two to the back kitchen when the pulse of uncloaked nimbus caught her attentions right along side will working. She bristles visibly for a moment before turning back to the pink haired girl and the other. “Just a moment.” She said before seeking the source of the flux.

Other guy was ready to introduce himself, but Vae seemed a bit distracted. He turns instead to Weavebreaker, "Leo Lockheart, Arrow from the east coast. Maryland if you want to get specific." He says to the pink haired woman. Leo still has the smile he had when he first started talking, and he seems more relaxed now that Weavebreaker has introduced herself as an Arrow. He nods his head to acknowledge Vaeltia excusing herself before looking back to Weavebreaker. "I'm still pretty new around here. Can I guess you are too, or do you always formally introduce yourself when you enter a room?"

I wonder what distracted her.

Weavebreaker glances to where Vae's attention cast to, but before she could discern anything, Leo's voice draws her attention back. "Yes, I have not been in Sacramento long." She says plainly as she glances back to Vae and then back to Leo. "How are you liking it so far?"

[Leo Lockheart]

Leo really hadn't seen much of the city, unless you count backalleys and cheap hotelrooms. He tended to keep his head down and move quickly from point A to point B to avoid notice. Stopping to smell the roses wasn't really his deal. "The city seems nice enough, though I'll admit I haven't gotten out much." He makes his confession somewhat remorsefully, though he perks back up almost immediately. "This is kinda my first day out on the town. This building is beautiful, and Vae seemed rather welcoming when I arrived. I guess you could say so far so good"

Vaeltia returned to the two new people. “I’m sorry, normally we don’t have people Flaring their nimbuses at gatherings like this.” She rubs her hands together.

“Now, I didn’t get your name, path, or order.” she looked at Leo ( Xander ) before looking at Weavebreaker , “And I don't think I got path from you. But you offered to help with the food running, or I volunteered you, but that’s the same thing.” she grinned.

“It’s not much lifting and carrying, so don’t worry about it. I just want to get it all out before I announce the games.”

[Leo Lockheart]

"No prob. It's Leo Lockheart, Obrimos Arrow from the east coast." He responded with a smile."Well, if it's not an issue can we hear the lineup for the games?" Leo becomes visibly excited, almost giddy, at the thought of starting. That and ending the small talk. At an Arrow event he was hoping for more of the athletic stuff, though the social had it's place. A small but necessary place Leo wanted to wall off, board up, and never speak of.

[Weavebreaker]

"Path of the Mighty as well." Weavebreaker gives a nod that is part approving of a kindred spirit and part acceptance of offering assistance. "Just name what you need done and will start on the task." She glances between the two.

"By the way Vaeltia. What path are you on?" It is obvious to her that she was an arrow with the capacity she is fulfilling here, but the question of path is still a curious topic.

Vaeltia let a grin slide on to her face. “So that makes three of us then?”

Oh come on, like it’s not difficult when you have three Obrimos Arrows standing around in a circle, one of us is gonna start bleeding heat any second now.

“Actually, if you look at that door.” she said pointing to a small door that opened to stairs only a few yards away. “It leads down into a kitchen, there should be the rest of everything down there, with the three of us it shouldn’t take more than a trip each. And I’ll get to the announcement soon enough.”

Rosh might have wanted to meet these two... There was a sobering thought.

"Well then lets get going." Leo said with some enthusiasm. He was as ready to start the games as he was to eat, so this needed to get done quickly. He goes through the door into the kitchen and takes a quick sniff of the food. After stopping the drool from spilling out, he then grabs whatever he can carry and proceeds back to the staging area to start setting up.

[Weavebreaker]

Weavebreaker gives a nod and follows after Leo, heading into the kitchen. She takes a moment to look over everything, though only to figure out the most efficient way to carry as much as possible out of the kitchen without dropping or spilling anything.

She takes a moment to organize her load, stacking dishes ontop of one another before lifting the load to carry out into the main room. Resting the stuff down onto the table, she goes about unstacking and prepping the goods.
