Terri looked to Duncan, still smiling. "Thanks, Dunc, it was just practice, really," she said, moving closer to the Snowskin. "I'd be happy to teach you some of it, if you would like?"

Tally moves in to congratulate those who placed before heading back to retrieve her sweater jacket. "Congratulations Terri!" She says brightly before moving on to speak with Duncan, "Great for you Duncan for getting second." And then moves towards Rook, finding it slightly hard to approach him, "Rook." She nods her head towards him.
Stretching her shoulder muscles, Tally heads for the starting line to find her sweater.

John approaches the winners to offer his congratulations - hesitating a little at the sight of the two draconics, but he swallows his fear and greets them anyway. Even if he does make sure his fellow Autumn courtiers are between him and the predators.
"Good race, everyone - especially you, Terri! I don't think I've ever seen anyone move that fast."
The whisperwisp was quite pleased that even though his own performance had been decidedly average, it was a member of the Autumn court who had left everyone in the dust.
While the others still standing began milling around, congratulating each other, and particularly the victors, Mal was still sprawled out a matter of feet away from the finish line, wrestling the split-toed climbing shoe off her foot to check for damage, teeth gritted against the pain.
Tying a sock tightly around the wounded appendage, she noticed not far away the hissing and wheezing form of the stank-elemental, (whose name she should probably learn sooner rather than later, or she was going to say that out-loud by accident) similarly sprawled out across the ground.
"One word." she said, with a note of humour she didn't actually feel. "And I'll make you eat those shoes."
She really did so very much hate appearing to be wrong.
Danny coughed, still flushing bright green, but he looked at the Harvest Envoy and smiled, showing his fangs.
"You, you should take her up on her offer, um, Duncan. She, she taught me, and it was pretty amazing, um... I've never run as fast as I just did," he looked a little more sheepish. "Which um, I know I was way, way behind you guys, but it was um, a, a big deal for me."
His long fingers flexed awkwardly, missing the comfortable feeling of his cane. It was soothing to have his blade with him. Danny knew where he stood.

Duncan nodded at Danny's words and then turned to give Terri a pleasant smile. "That'd be great actually," he said to the redheaded Beast. "They do say that practice makes perfect...and by your performance today, I'd say that it is certainly true...and not just a cliche!" The Elemental let out a soft laugh after saying those words. "And congratulations on getting first place of course," he added, the smile widening just a bit on his icy lips.

"Cool," Terri said in reply to Duncan. "It seems that I've been asked by a few people actually. Maybe one day, I'll start a club."
Turning as John congratulated her, Terri thanked her fellow Autumn Courtier. "In all honesty, I don't think I've ever moved that fast," she laughed.
"You know, it seems people want a few fitness tips in general, these days," Rook said, glancing over at Terri.
An idea was rattling around his steel skull.
"...Maybe we should collaborate."
The thing about Rook, was that once an idea appeared, it tended to be known by everyone in the general area. Having a tongue that always told the truth made the Metalflesh get very quickly in the habit of always saying what he was thinking. It made things less awkward in the long run.
John smiles at Terri's mention of starting a club.
"Well, if you ever do, I'd be up for it."
Along with Rook's fitness club, it'd be a good way to socialise with other freehold members.

Terri looked to Rook, a smile playing across her lips, and gave the living siege engine the smallest of nods.
"That sounds an idea."
