Narration
Falx wanders into the Circle, and eventually finds West running on a treadmill. He's also reading. Closer inspection would reveal the book to be The Tao of Pooh.

Falx comes to a stop next to the treadmill. "Myself and some other mages decided to wander along the riverside and found out some interesting things."

|

West reached forward and turned the treadmill off and closed the book.
"Whatcha got?" he asked, dabbing at the sweat on his face with a towel.

Falx mulls it over for a moment. "We left the Museum towards the large bridge. One of us, I can't remember who, noticed that we were being followed by a guy on a red bike. O, it was me, Brutus, Errant, Ceart and Gabriel. I don't think the later three are known in the city yet. When we got to the bridge it was weird under the sight. It looked like glyphs were forming on it slowly and the thing was saturated in the supernal. From there we wandered down a street parallel to the bridge past some shops. A person was watching us from one of the buildings and the guy on the red bike was still around watching as well. We came across two other pentacles, the hot ladder......Mirage was her name and Keystone I believe. Mirage seem flustered and ran across the street. Keystone wasn't up for talking either apparently.
We went into the coffee shop they left and got some drinks and food. While sitting outside we noticed that the bike guy had gone as well as the person who was watching us from the building. Then Zilker rolled up in his car and asked why we were sitting outside of a hostile sanctum. We didn't know it was one and said we were leaving asap."
It comes out as he thinks it.

West dabbed at himself, as he listened, then responded. "First of all... you met up with three unknown Awakened? Isn't that kind of stupid? Especially if they haven't made their presence known to the Consilium?"
West looks at Falx as one might regard a three headed cow; nonplussed that such a thing could be, even more so that it was standing before him.

Brutus makes it to the Circle of creation, parks, and wanders inside. He takes his time now that he has a chance to enjoy the beauty of the chapel, then turns down the winding halls looking for anyone that he recognize as 'Arrow'.
Eventually he makes his way past Falx and West, stops, then bows his way inside respectfully. The look on West face makes Brutus wish he had picked a better opportunity to come knocking. He remains quiet, unwilling to voice his presence just yet though West can clearly see him standing there in his hot coat.

Falx looks down at the floor. That hadn't even occurred to him. He looks up at West. "The risk was worth it. Something had to be done even if it ended up being worthless. Fellow mages are dieing and as far as I can tell the vast majority of mages in the city are just waiting around to be shot next. Even if we hadn't crossed any other non-pentacle mages paths it was still useful to learn a little more about the city." His shoulders slump a bit but he keeps looking at West. Believing it was necessary even if it was foolish.

West shrugged. If the other Mage wanted to trust complete strangers, that was his business.
"So... you learned there was a weird bridge, there's a good-looking Thearch in town, people watch groups of guys that wander around the city, and that Zilker is watching a hostile Sanctum that you didn't know was there...?" West asked, trying to summarize Falx's rambling speech.
Noticing Brutus he held his finger up, asking him to wait.

Brutus nods and looks around for something to do. Seeing nothing he steps back out into the hall quietly, giving Falx some privacy.
