Conner walks the women back to his office, "Cheyenne, when Deputy Grigoriev arrives please escort him here." The Ghoul simply nods and steps out of the office.
"I am afraid I have some bad news. According to the evidence currently available, It is very likely that Thomas O'Conner and Sarah LaFleur have met there end."

Martha blinks and, her mouth in an O of surprise, she looks to Ariana. Leaning hard on her cane, she slowly and steadily asks, "Do we know where and how they met their end, sir? By what hand or means did their Requia end?" she blinks, her voice straining to hide the sorrow.
Ariana's eyes widened for a moment yet again that evening. The two had been just visiting from what she understood, and Thomas had appeared at the Shadow meeting. "As Hearld Villiers mention, what information do we currently have on the situation, please." At least the information moved relatively quickly with the Reeve. The Lordess gave Martha an understanding look. It was always a difficult situation getting close, even as friends in their Requiems for reasons such as this.
Conner just shook his head, "I am afraid it is too early to tell who the killer is, as for the means, by the reported blood splatter, it looks as if it was a vicious attack. I will give you as much information as I have once Deputy Grigoriev arrives. He will be assigned to this investigation."
There is a Knock at the door, Deputy Grigoriev's beast can be felt through it...

It's not her chamber, so Martha refrains from inviting Sidor in and simply takes the moment of knocking distraction to gather her thoughts, absorb the news and share a sad glance to Ariana.
Nodding at Conner's decision to bring in Sidor.
The threat to the Domain was increasingly potent. First the attack on Tony...now this...
Is there a link? she mused sadly.
"Come in Deputy Grigoriev." Conner says.
The Lordess slowly and gently nodded to Martha with a sympathetic expression. Sometimes people deserved their fate, however, of those undeserving it never settled well. Ariana could feel the beast on the other side of the door. It was familiar to her, perhaps more so because she knew exactly who it belonged to. She clasped her hands in front of her and waited patiently.
Sidor entered, feeling the familiar Beast of the Seneschal. It barely raised a twitch from his own, so easy was it to control himself around the familiarity. Besides, he had braced for the confusion of the many Beasts in Court. A single, familiar one in a small room was much less of a challenge.
He pressed his left hand to his chest and bowed his head.
"Good evening, Reeve Greyson, Seneschal Donovan, Herald Villiers. You asked for me?"

Martha nods respectfully to Sidor and leans harder on her cane. Taking a few steps closer to Ariana as she watches to see what orders and explanation the Reeve intends to provide.
