Setting his bike into the museum's bike rake, Reverb crouched down and laced the bike lock cable around and through the rake and his bike. Fishing out his Master Lock, he snapped it closed through the cable loops. He tugged on the lock and cables, giving the appearance he was making sure his bike was secure as he pressed his left against his chest and worked through the Rote of Mage Sight.
Once the casting was complete, the mage rose to his feet and headed for the front steps of the museum. In vans, khaki cargo shorts, zip-up Dodgers sweatshirt, Dodgers cap and black backpack, he looked like a fairly nondescript college student. Behind the Dodger themed facade, inside, he was fairly nervous, tending toward scared.
Since he had seen the article his mind had been racing. Not more than 4 days ago the Frequency had carried the story of Robert the Doll and now another magic doll had popped up, in the city no less. Was it a warning, a tip off? Did the local mages know the score? Dancing isn't so bad, its not like it was scampering around with a knife or killing pacemakers. He thought. Then again, it was compelling people to dance. Wasn't Robert just playful at first? That the doll wasn't Robert he was certain. He had gone so far as to actually call the Florida museum it was still in their possession.
He hadn't gotten the chance to properly research this doll, which he really wish he could have. If it's old world, then its probably not voodoo..so that's good. Right?
