The Invitations sent to Tyria and Animus request that they come to Eclipse's house to tie up some loose ends. Tonight is the night.
Lyle waits at the door to receive them as they arrive and escort them into the living room where Eclipse waits.
Animus arrives, slightly out of sorts. As if announcing my own Mastery weren't embarassing enough, now it has to be confirmed after the fact? Why couldn't this have been done beforehand?
:tyria:
Tyria arrives, dressed in a stylish skirt and top, and hair styled, rather than held up by a pencil emblazoned with the museum logo. She smells like vanilla, too.
Eclipse greets them both individually and when they'd both arrived he speaks to them both.
"Thanks so much for coming. We all know why we're here, tonight, and one of the reasons is because I made an error. Not easy for me to admit, I must say. However, life is a journey and next time, I imagine, I will be wiser for this having happened."
That seems to conclude anything Eclipse is going to just come out and say about the confusion that had resulted in this meeting.
"Now, then. As I said, we know why we're here. To confirm that Animus has attained Mastery of the Arcanum of Life."
Unless there is anything else he nods to Animus "You may begin when you are ready."
Tyria
Tyria nods at Eclipse's words, and looks to Animus, watching him through the lenses of several Sight spells.
Animus calmly returns Tyria's stare. "I ask permission to cast a spell on you, with the understanding that the effect is entirely beneficial." His tone is extremely formal, underscoring the gravity of what he asks for.
Tyria laughs softly. "My apologies Animus, but I must decline."
The sparkle in her eye gives Animus the impression he's being left out of a joke.
Animus takes a step away from Eclipse, making it quite clear that he is well outside arm's reach. He removes a copper mirror from his pocket and stares into it, chanting in the high speech. A soft white light radiates outward, leaving Tyria and Eclipse a rush of vitality as it passes over them, and briefly revealing glimpses of the slumbering spirits of nearby furniture items.
Hone Another's Form
As the spell takes hold, Eclipse's muscles bulge outward, and he feels considerably stronger. Animus seems satisfied with the results. "Now go on, try lifting something."
