Harvey strolled into the Four Seasons' bar, an unamused expression on his face. The Sun Banisher had Magnus Wight with him, but Regina was no longer with the pair. Perhaps that had something to do with the look in the Shadowsoul's eyes, or perhaps it was something else. Sure, they had been able to get their hands on a couple of items that could be of help in their investigation, but at what cost?

A man was dead. Regina gone. And to top it all off, there was a very good chance that the local authorities were still out looking for him.

He walked up to the bar, which was surprisingly empty for some reason, which was unknown even to the Sun Banisher. The lone soul asides from the pair was Sam, the ensorcelled bartender. Harvey sat down on a stool and placed a $20 in front of him. "Scotch. On the rocks," he said to the ensorcelled boy. "And keep 'em coming."

The bar is not that empty. You already got an old man, a middle aged man, and the younger generation is yet strolling inside. Alec is cautious as ever, not sure what to expect. He hasn't heard of a lot places where local changelings meet each other... except for the Four Seasons and apparently the junkyard.

The Woodblood is not a fan of junkyards.

He approaches the bar where obviously some fellow Lost are seated. Alec walks slow enough to get a chance to observe the men without being rude. They don't seem amused, neither does the Elemental have any reason to smile. 'Gentlemen.' He nods to Harvey and Magnus, then turns to the bartender. 'Can I have a...' He shortly looks to his right, how to not make them laugh, without drinking alcohol? he is not going to order what he actually prefers, 'golden ginger ale, if you don't have it then just the dry one please.'

While leaning back to take his wallet he looks at the three men. 'I'm Alec Valentine by the way.'

A defense lawyer walks into a Bar.

    Heh.

Perry chuckled mentally at his own joke as he strolled into the Four Seasons, his black leather briefcase in his left hand and a big beige file with neat writing all over it in his right. He had just been in Court for closing submissions on a manslaughter case before a jury -- thankfully not before Judge "That Sleepy Fuck" Dyers -- and was waiting on the verdict. There was always time for a bite, especially when the jury was taking its sweet fucking time deliberating on an obvious acquittal.

So when the Shadowsoul saw a bunch of other Lost, he found himself smiling. He cut a striking figure in his beautifully tailored Italian suit, emerald green eyes twinkling in the middle of a dark, elfin face, and the smile served only to enhance his mein's alien beauty. And he had seen one of these before. Magnus, the cake guy from the other night. "Good evening, gentlemen," he said with a handsome flash of pearly whites.

He made his way up to the bar, and waited a moment so that the kid could complete the other orders. Once he was done, the attorney said to the bartender. "I'll have a Belvedere and lime, please." Girly drink? What of it? He took a seat and put his overcoat, briefcase and file down in a little stack on the empty barstool next to him, on the far side of the group -- just in case someone wanted to sit next to him.

When Magnus arrived with Harvey he too immediately took a seat at the bar. He joined the Sun Banisher in the choice of Scotch as well with a simple grunt and nod to the bartender accompanied by come cash of his own to cover the tab. Together the two Winter mantels rapidly dropped the ambient temperature of the bar a few degrees - something that might actually be somewhat welcome in California at this time of year.

When first the wood elf and then the dark elf arrive and order drinks he barely reacts, simply shifting his eyes to each in turn. When greeted he grunts noncommittally and downs another glass of Scotch and waving the bartender over to top him up again. After a time he turns to glance at Harvey.

    "Time?"

John hurries into the bar, still a bit rattled from Nora's sudden outburst and disappearance. He spots Harvey and Magnus, along with the two others, and perches on the edge of a stool next to the winter courtiers.

"Nora's skipped town," he explains apologetically, "But I've still got something." The wisperwisp glances around the bar, looking for the other member of the group.

"I take it Regina isn't here yet?"

Magnus grunts and winces slightly at the news. He takes a swallow of his new scotch. "Not coming."

He turns to Harvey with a serious expression. "Something's wrong."

Sam brought everyone their respective drinks, moving as fast as he could. As the Elemental and Fairest approached the bar, Harvey didn't even bother to look their way. Not until they greeted him and Magnus. The Sun Banisher returned the gesture by giving each a nod, focusing back on the glass of scotch in his hand.

"John should be here any minute," he said in response to Magnus, assuming that the Brewer was asking about that. Right on cue, the Darkling rushed through the front door of the bar and sat next to them.

Harvey contemplated the scotch in his hand for a moment, eventually downing the whole thing and gesturing for the ensorcelled bartender to serve him another. "So the girl called it quits, huh?" asked the Shadowsoul without much interest in his voice. "It doesn't surprise me." With those words, Sam brought him his second drink, which he downed just like the first one.

"Regina had to leave," said Harvey as he gestured for another drink. "Things got...complicated." With those words, he turned to look at the other two Lost sitting at the bar, giving them a wary glance for a moment.

"Alec, and who are you?" said the Sun Banisher, the question directed at the other Shadowsoul present. "You two look like you are new in town."

Alec nods to the other man as he enters the bar, then he looks around, somewhat expecting the men to make jokes or be drunk and sad. He didn't come to a bar just to drink something. People should talk to each other, but the Woodblood is not good at starting conversations.

'Hey John!' One new Autumn Courtier waves his hand at another new Autumn Courtier, just to do something. He doesn't hide the fact that he's following the exchange of words that follows.

    Suddenly they turn at him.

'Yeah quite new, a meeting here, a party there, but really that's all. Something wrong?' Alec scratches the scar on his left cheek, a nervous habit.

The lawyer was looking at a paper on top of his file as the drink arrived. After all, he needed to be able to make sentencing submissions after the verdict was rendered, right? It was important to be completely up on his case law. But then the others were chatting, and he did wish to be social. After all, this trial was his next 24 hours. The Freehold was his foreseeable future.

As the Sun Banisher asked him who he was, Perry flashed a dazzling smile, offered the man a handshake, and said, "My name is Perry diCarto. A pleasure to meet you."

The lawyer caught the Elemental's inquiry about whether or not something was going wrong and elected not to echo it... but the other Shadowsoul didn't seem particularly happy right now.

Notch really didnt know how he ended up in front of the Four Seasons bar. Earlier in the day the pangs of isolation and boredom finally got the better of him. He left his little hollow and headed into town with no real purpose other than to get out and walk. After a few hours of wandering aimlessly and becoming increasingly annoyed he finally came up to the hotels entrance. Although he had never been here he knew this was another of the local lost's hotspots. well shit, why not? not like i got anything to lose.
He pulled the hair back from his face, took a deep reluctant breath, and pushed open the door.
    shite...
Yep, there were other changlings here, but this seemed a totally different kind of crowd than at the Forge. Much more, ummm, conservative? He was about to turn around and head back when he noticed magnus sitting at the bar. ok, at least one recognizable face.
seemingly oblivious to the lings he didn't recognize or the serious look on magnus face, notch walks straight up to the wizened...
"Hey, what's up? Don't you work at the Forge?"
