Jennifer sat in the dining area of the haven she shared with Ricardo. She had made the kitchen table into a little office and was working on making notes on a handful of loose leaf papers. She referred to a journal written entirely in her own hand frequently. This journal was very important to her- she had labored to transfer the oaths and accounts within it from her Grand Sire's own Notary Journal. The process had taken a great deal of time; but it had taught Jennifer patience.

Now she sat with the draft of two oaths upon the table; referring to her Notary Journal. She had made the changes requested by the Reeve; and now was thinking further on the Oaths for those who were not of the First Estate. She knew that such oaths occurred frequently in Invictus domains; and hoped that those swearing them knew of the gravity of the oath. If not; she hoped that they would ask before pledging their blood and word onto her parchment.

The instance she was thinking of was an oath sworn by the House of the Blue convolvulus, an ally of her Grand Sire. One of the members of the house was Eden Ai; an Invictus Nosferatu who was once Prince of a city for a time. She had joined the house of the Lady Notary Micha Chappelle, the Libretist Garreth Slade and the Ordul Dracul mekhet, Alexander McCairn. The inclusion of the Ordul was due to threat of hunters in the area and his deep bonds to his fellow Mekhet. To keep the secrecy of both Invictus and Ordul; the group had sworn a Mutual oath to never ask covenant related questions, investigate or enter the work place of the other covenant in their shared haven. Reading the oath; she noticed that the House of the Bluce Convulvolus had functioned flawlessly for years with every one's interests protected with the Oath.

She ought to start anticipating the needs of this domain. The Reeve was the first to ask for an oath; but she doubted that he would be the last. The Oaths bestowed great responsibility between Kindred and ensured that nothing nefarious would fall to both parties. The Nosferatu continued to research the journal; hoping to be well versed in drafting Oaths specifically for the Kindred of this domain.
