A little smirk forms on the corner of the Rahu's lips, as he nods at his Alpha's request. "You got it boss," he says to Digger and then steps into the circle, cracking his neck and then his knuckles.

"You ready for a little wrestling?" he asks Skaald with a devilish grin on his face.

[Swift]

Skaald accepts the bottle of Everclear and takes a long shot grimacing slightly at the burn, but smiling as he does so. He hands the bottle back to Digger, "I'd be sorely disappointed otherwise."

Skaald then kicks off his shoes, depositing them and his bags outside of the circle. He then removes his leather jacket as well, revealing a lithe but fit form. Dressed in just leather pants and an undershirt he turns to Dale with a toothy grin. "Ready. I may be the new guy, but don't go too easy on me."

After observing his opponent for a brief moment, Dale lunges forward at the Cahalith. He manages to get a hold of him, establishing an initial grapple.

John stayed where he was as the two combatants entered the circle and smiled slightly when Digger lit the alcohol, watching as the flames danced around them both, matching the fire that burnt at the heart of the Crusaders.

"Trial by fire, Skaald," John shouted into the circle, watching to see how the Cahalith would get on under Dale's grip.

[Swift]

Only Hishu? Well crap, this will be short, is all Skaald has time to think as the flames rise up and Dale charges him. With only basic hand-to-hand training Skaald drops into a simple defensive crouch and attempts to get out of Dale's way. He's not surprised when Dale easily defeats his defense and enters the clinch. Fortunately he was prepared for that and he lowers his head and shoulders to receive Dale's charge. He then lifts and twists with all his strength and will, pinning Dale in a wrestler's hold.
