Sebastian simply nodded his reply. He was not really sure what Ivan was hinting it; a note could mean anything, it hardly pointed to a drug deal. He overclocked his mind, trying hard to understand the pattern. What was on the note? Who was the Usher? Who was the Usher talking too? and who am I supposed to kill?

He almost jumped as his heightened hearing futher amplified the profoundly aggressive whisper. It took tremendous effort to stop himself from bursting into laughter immediately afterwards.

Biting back his witticism, he replied to the fellow in a quiet whisper "Sorry mate."

Turning his attention back towards Ivan, he muttered almost imperceivably under his breath "Keep watch, this will take a minute", hoping that the vampire had also heightened his own hearing. He began to focus intently on the man who had recieved the note. He knew that if he focused really, really hard on someone he could sometimes make out their 'colours'. It seemed like some trippy new age shit, but hey, that was monster magic for ya'.

He straightened his back against the cramped and uncomfortable seating, tensed the muscles around his eyes and produced a stare intense enough to break glass. Does this add voyeurism to my list of sins?

Heightened Senses

Ivan had heightens his senses and takes a big whiff. He takes in the scent of the usher and the man sitting in the seat he hasn't seen a face, but they say scent is the easiest sense to remember. The man being obnoxious irritates him, so he sniffs his scent to just to find out more about him.

Ivan whispers to Sebastian, "The movie hasn't even started yet, where can they be off to? Did the guy in the in the aisle leave too?" Ivan looks closely at the chair he sat in, is he trying to pull the old bait and switch?

[Cameron]

Sebastian spoke quietly, but still much louder than he had been previously "Looks like theres going to be a que at the toilet, I'd better go before any more jump in." He got up to leave, his dramatic stretch giving Ivan just enough time to reply, before following those who had already left. A group of people all leaving the cinema before the movie started was certainly suspicous. There could be a perfectly logical explanation for all of this, after all, the pre-movie adds were horrific. But that should not have been enough to cause a mass exodus alone. All he could do was hope that he found something solid, soon. And preferably not in the restroom.

Ivan is sure Sebastian doesn't need the reminder but tells him anyway. "Don't do anything rash without back-up ok, and be sure you don't get seen next to a mirror. If you're clear in person but your image is fuzzy it'll cause a deadly case of curiosity."

That it is haha. As I was writing I was trying to imagine what he would report to Vorigan if nothing suspicious at all turned up, and I felt it droll enough to add as an after thought.

Sebastian was in two minds as he followed the absentees out of the theatre. The more indulgent side of his conscious kept itself busy with formulating a suitably dramatic soliloquy on the condition of monsters, largely brought about by Ivan's reminder to avoid mirrors.

Is It the lack of a soul that distorts my reflection, or does nature itself rebel againsts the monstrous leeches that feed off of her children...

While the more rational side found itself occupied with the matters at hand

Returning to the foyer, Sebastian glanced around, taking stock of those present and trying to mentally link them back to the empty seats.

"Sorry, dude, but this movie sucks anyway," he says to the obnoxious little twerp, as he stands up to leave. He moves out into the lobby scanning the room to look for either the usher or the moviegoer.
