"You are?" Dillon stammers, uncharacteristically unsure of himself for a moment, trying to remember if Dawes had ever sported the exact Munroe getup for anything he'd seen or not. Then it dawns on him. "You are! Of course..." There is a highly embarrassed wince and a short laugh at himself before he attempts clarify. "No, I know. Now I do, anyway. I remember your name around the Domain. It just never occurred to me that you might be the Cassandra Dawes. I think the first time I saw you, we were all recruited by Reeve Greyson to assist in a few of the Domain's little problems..." Conner had been more or less in Dillon's shoes then: a Deputy recruiting folks to do some dirty work for him. Dillon and Lance had been a couple of new-in-town schmucks. McLean and Alice had been there too... It seems ages ago and just yesternight at the same time. Gotta love the Requiem.
He points a playfully accusing finger at Cassie with a sly smirk. "And you were almost late. So we missed introductions. And now I'm paying for it." The whole 'Embraced movie star' thing is still sinking in. "Please accept my humblest apologies, Lady Dawes." At least he remembered that Sacramento's Cassandra Dawes is Invictus. But honestly, at the time he thought it might have been some false name that Kindred use when they swap Identities. Dillon himself had given names like Brian May to countless kine. Best to not let his real name get too much attention.
Giving a more subdued apology, for sidetracking them all, to the man with her by way of his expression, Dillon nods. "Welcome to Sacramento Mister Valentine, if you come in peace. I'm Deputy Dillon Connery, of the Lancea et Sanctum, and Priscus of the local Gangrel. How are you enjoying things so far?"
