Ahriman looks behind him and screams, half hopeful. He moves ahead, swinging wide through the trees, looping between them, letting the others catch up and then swerving off to the side, trying to shake them off.

She was winging through the trees, narrowly avoiding branches as she zipped towards the small light bird. Each beat of her wings brought her closer. She screeched at the Mastigos, now it was time for a hunt.

The Thyrsus-hawk zips through the trees, more than once cutting within inches of a branch, seeming to know almost exactly how much clearance he has as he wings after Ahriman.
Ahriman flies as fast as he can, but he knows the stronger faster birds would catch up. He flips sideways and skims the branches and then turns to scream.Ooc
It was almost more of a chase, the sharp turns and the quick movements up, down, left, right, back, up, down, around the branch. She was advancing on the light winged Mastigos. But there was an opening.
At his turn, he looked back, and a slight misbeat in his wings. She took that opening, before he even had the chance to screech.
I think I got you
Ahriman screamed feeling himself suddenly have a weight on his back. He straightened out and attempted to fly lower and lower and lower.
The small motions of desperation, motions so very much like prey.
PREY! The overlay of the predators instincts shot the thoughts through her mind as she wrapped a claw around the smaller bird’s wing. It was a motion very un-hawk as she beat her own wings. She kept him aloft as he constantly tried to fly lower and lower.
And she pushed him down, using her weight, her freedom of movement, and the pure fact that she didn’t have another bird on her back. She rode him like a surfboard into the ground.
Above him, one food holding down a wing and the other on the back of the bird, she screamed again, this time a triumphant scream before looking up at the still circling Animus-hawk.
The bird pinned, unable to fly. That wasn't fair at all. A trapping that was painful just to watch. With a loud Scree, the Thyrsus tucks into a dive, aiming straight for Vae. He grazes past her, talons slashing at her back as he just barely manages to avoid caroming into the ground.
Ouch! 5 suxx before def/arm
She saw it coming, another attack, another dive. She moved carefully, throwing her will up to protect her, but she couldn’t move fast enough. the Hierarch’s talons dug into her back. With an effort she pulled at the strings of the spell surrounding the three of them, before falling off of the hawk form of Ahriman, in a nice pool of blood.
She was struggling, it hurt all over; that was no friendly attack.
1 mana spent, 1 suxx, I don’t think that beats the potency

"Shit." Ahriman felt the threads unravail. He gets out from under her and quickly begans to think through what he can do.
"Animus, come on we need a heal." He looks down at her. "come on... "
