"Well Malloy's sleeping so you ain't gonna get anything out of her. So what you wanna do?" Roxie asks leaving it up to the investigators.

Adam was not to be put off by a setback, no matter how great it might be. He did not have the ties here in Sacramento that Rose and Sharky had helped him to build; here he was on his own. That meant he needed to be more proactive, scraping the bottom in order to rise up in the ranks of usefulness. To fall at so small a hurdle was to be weak: weak-willed, weak-minded, and as such quite pointless.
The Daeva's pride would not allow that to be.
He hadn't called the meeting with Regent Hart so that he might dilly-dally, expecting aid to be spoon-fed to him like a child. "We can return to the building as soon as we're certain there's no unsavoury activity to stop our search. Until we see inside, we cannot rule out clues. We can try and track the car, longshot though that might be," Adam stated simply.
"God damnit... if that blue haired cunt caused this, I'll have dog fuck start her head." Roxie says pacing for a moment, "Fine go do what you gotta do."
As Adam speaks of their next steps Susan simply nods. She was eager for a chance to get back into that damn building after her last attempt ended so poorly, she could only hope for a better outcome this time around. "Alright lets get out of here." She says to Adam not wanting to waist any more of the Regents time
Adam simply nodded once, his expression purposeful. "Then by your leave, Regent."
He turned quickly and strode back toward his car, checking his watch as he moved. He didn't intend to be caught outside if daylight was close, and time seemed to have flown by since they had left the motel the first time around.
