A Flower for Every Occasion

Jennifer contacted the Speaker Ariana Donovan, hoping to gain some guidance from her elder. She also contacted the Au Pair, Danniella Sage, for her opinions. She does share with each woman that she will be meeting with the Speaker, the Au Pair and Jennifer and that the location will be in the less populated area of the city, the attire is casual.

Googling the address that Jennifer includes reveals a stand alone building adjacent to a parking lot and small side street. A small garland of pink and yellow paper lanterns are strung up alongside an exterior picnic bench, casting a rosy glow over the night's darkness. Jennifer sits at the picnic bench, wearing a green cardigan, grey slacks and a green silk scarf with a very pretty pin that Danielle would recognize.

The Nosferatu has a briefcase open on the table in front of her and is reviewing some paperwork. Her Beast is shrouded; and the Blush is active.

Daniella was anxious to see what the meeting would be about, and does try to dress casual. Not wanting to appear too casual, she decides on a pair of jeans with a black blouse. She wears her necklace, and carries her new purse as well.
She finds the place easy enough, and looks around for Jennifer. Once she spots her, she makes her way over, smiling as she walks up, "Good evening Miss Hazelton! I hope you are well." her voice was pleasant.

A black sedan rolls up to the location and Lance climbs out and looks around to assess the meeting area. He moves around to the other side of the sedan to open her door and help Ariana out of the backseat, like a gentleman. He's dressed in a simple black suit designed to fade into the background, she's dressed in a simple but stunning grey dress with a black coat and matching leggings. As they approach the two ladies, Lance gives them each a respectful nod of the head but remains silent unless addressed. He figures that this is something of an Invictus thing and the less attention brought upon himself the better he'll look.

"Hello, Miss Sage." Jennifer greeted; rising from the bench. "Thank you for coming. I take it that you found the place all right?"

Jennifer turned as the sedan approached, relaxing as Deputy Raynor exited and opened the door for Madame Speaker Donovan.
"Hello, Madame Donovan." Jennifer greeted sincerely. "Hello, Mr. Raynor. Please, follow me inside."
After taking a moment to gather the papers back into her brief case; she leads the way towards the empty building. She unlocks the door with a single key and enters the building, flicking on the lights.

As the light filled the main room, it was clear that it had been recently painted an uplifting light green color. A door to a separate room could be seen in the rear of the main room; but Jennifer led the group towards a small round table with four chairs. There were two different colored folders at three of the chairs.

"This is a casual meeting to discuss an idea that I had about the First Estate..." She explained to the ladies, her eyes moving to the Deputy after a beat. "There's nothing secretive or specific about it, Deputy Raynor, so please make yourself comfortable."

Jennifer moved to a chair and waited a moment for the Speaker to have a seat first.

"I did, thank you for asking." she replied as she noticed Jennifer turn to see Lance and Ariana approach.

Turning to greet them, "Good evening Madame Donovan" a slight bow of her head, "Mr. Raynor." with a smile, "I hope you are both well."

She looks around as they enter the building, the other door is noted as is the table. She is a bit surprised when Jennifer mentions the meeting is concerning the First Estate, and was anxious to hear what her idea was.

Smiling to Jennifer, "I look forward to hearing your idea!" as she moves towards the table, and like Jennifer, waits for Ariana to sit first.

"Thank you, Au Pair Sage." Jennifer replied warmly. "I am very interested to hear your opinion. You are vital in educating potential and actual new recruits in this language of subtlety."

"My thanks, Madame Speaker Donovan." Jennifer replied, inclining her head respectfully to the Speaker as she takes a seat.
"You have gleaned upon the precise reason why I am so interested in establishing this Greenhouse. The code of flowers was also ill used in San Diego; yet my Grand Sire assured me it was a pillar of etiquette in Toronto. I would like for this green house to be a place for those of the Invictus and potentials to learn where the flowers are at their height."

She opened the yellow folder in front of her; the contents exactly the same as the folders in front of Speaker Donovan and Au Pair Sage.

The first page was entitled ' Flowers' and was followed by a flower name, a description, and a small photo of the flower. There were only twelve.

"I'd like to focus on which flowers we've used in the past, first," Jennifer explained. "- and what flowers we think we might need in upcoming functions."

She takes her seat and listens as Ariana and Jennifer speak before opening the folder. She had heard of the Language of Flowers, but only briefly, so it was something she was eager to see happen.

Glancing up, “I have never seen the flowers used; my Sire didn’t care much for them. I, on the other hand, think the use of these flowers is something to be upheld.” She looks to Jennifer and smiles, “I love the idea Notary Hazelton! While my knowledge is limited at this time, I only know a few flowers, I can assure you that it will be my top priority.” It was clear she was eager to hear more about the flowers. She looks back to the papers, taking in the pictures and the meanings.
