As Toren kicked the tree, the shadows wrapped themselves around the two of them. As it pulled them towards the tree, Toren could feel the bark scrape against his skin. Before a moment passed, they were sucked into a cold black void, similar to the one they were trapped in before, but this one was ice cold. They were dropped on a cold metal floor, and slowly the room around them came into focus.
A large, austere room was dominated by what looks like the world's largest kitchen island. One wall had three doors, and the other three contained large images of the Mysterium's sigil. Closer inspection would reveal small black dividers marking the seperation of the screens that make up the entire wall. There were no windows. Underneath the sigils, a timer appeared, counting down from ten.
"Welcome, Toren and Dark Eyes," a voice called out from the corner. A man stepped towards them, and announced to the room. "Dark Eyes, and Toren of the Mysterium. Verified by John Dee.".
The counters faded away, and two of the walls changed images. On one, a picture of John, outlined in green. On the other, an image of Toren and Dark Eyes, outlined in red. From the centered image of the pair, images branched out, like a project flowchart. they recognized some of the images to the left. Images of their past, of people they've known. Other images are simple repetitions of the Mysterium icon. To the right, all the images are same Mysterium sigil.
John Dee leaned forward and extended his hand to help Toren up to his feet.
