"Oh, beg your pardon." Dillon says at the misunderstanding. "Now that, I don't know about. I'm way too busy maintain an animal as a pet or potential ghoul. When I decide to practice talking with them, I usually try a stray. Strays are more wary, but most animals are curious about two-legged creatures that they can actually understand."
He throws in a little shrug. "You might get one to follow you home."
"that will certainly be the case i suppose. A stray certainly will know how to handle itself during the day, so i won't have to bother with it." Francesco nods at understanding the situation.

Dillon offers a nod and a small, lopsided smile. "Anytime, Mister Giovanni."
Though he doesn't move from his post near the Acknowledging, his tone makes it clear that Francesco is excused if he wishes to be.
Francesco nods, than, excusing himself from the priscus presence, with the necessary etiquette, he slowly walks nearer the one who are getting acknowledged, it might be interesting to see how the prince handles acknowledgements.
