OOC
The cat twists it's head to one side and narrows it's eyes at Degnar's outburst. As it turns the rest of its body toward the barefoot darkling, a hatch or access panel of some sort can just barely be seen running along the underside of the metal feline's belly. A mechanical crackle and whirr emanates from the robotic kitty.
"Me-Ow?"
The Darkling's eyes widened as he noticed the access panel. Unfortunately for him, it wouldn't be easy to get to it due to its location.
I need to get to that somehow...
Degnar looked around the room, hoping he could find something nearby that he could use to his advantage. If he could find something to throw at it, maybe he could knock the mechanical cat over, making it easier to get to the control panel.

Long lengths of slightly chewed wires litter the floor and seem to crouch in sullen tangles in the corners. Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be much in the room that might be improvised as a weapon or tool.
Seeing that the mechanical beast didn't seem to be an imminent threat, the Darkling shrugged and continued to look around the room. There had to be signs of Queen Byeli's trinket somewhere around this place.
Well, if I don't have to deal with the kitty, the better. Didn't feel like trying to figure out how to disable it anyway...

He turned to Lilian ( Aeolus ) and said, "umm, help me look will ya?"
Degnar's voice snapped Lilian out of her train of thought. She wanted to scrutinize the cat but the longer she looked at it the less she knew what she was actually doing at the moment. Maybe it's because she had neglected her fey life for so long, but she couldn't quite wrap her mind around it.
Luckily for her the cat didn't show signs of aggression anymore.
"Sorry, will do!" With a last glance at the robot she look around the room.
Investigation, 1 sux
The metal cat follows them around curiously as they investigate the former Autumn King's lair. Lilian finds a bank of file cabinets, some of which are locked. However, Degnar manages to shift one back and forth just enough to hear something heavier than files moving around inside.
