Yui scampers across Capital Park like Santa-Ferret, Hauling his bag o' gooddies for all the nice wee hobbs.

He does try to keep from jostling too much. We don't want to shake things up to much.

He also carries his bow and a knife on his leg.
It's early morning, Dawn has broke. Yui hopes the same is true on the Other side.

He also hopes the early hour means no human inference on the play.

Yui hurries to activate the Gate feeling like any minute a Cop with nothing better to do would decided to ask him some hard questions.
'No officer, that Weed is medical, yes, that is a bow. No I'm not suspicious.'

Yui blindly observes everythiung. So paranoid is he that he fails to see beyond creeping morning shadows and hear beyond the sound of his own snare-like heart beat.

"Wha' are yew doin', skulkin' 'round like a damned mouse?"

The gruff voice comes from very near by, so close in fact, it seems to generate from the bench that Yui passes. On it, a man lays down covered by a newspaper and looking every much the bum that he is supposed to be. He stares up at Yui with bloodshot eyes. Resting in his hand is a half empty bottle of wine, the other hand tucked in the front of his pants.

Yui about jumps out of fur. "Hachi chi, what the fuck! you'll give a man a heart attack!"

The wine, the comfort, the smell... "I'm trying not to be seen or followed. What are you doin out in the open like this?" Yui glances about the park as if he wasn't certain where the next threat might come.

Tthat isn't much of an act.

"Sleeping, wha's your excuse?" The man took a swig from the bottle that drained it and then looked at it like it was his enemy just because it was empty. He held it out to Yui. "Hey, be a guy an' stand this on the wall over there." The wall was the same one that surronded the gateway to the freehold's only known Trod.

Yui is caught off guard yet again.

"Uh, why?" Yui takes the bottle, shifting his load to one hand to free the other. "Why am I doing this?" He asks hesitantly.

A set of rotten teeth flash from behind his beard.

"Targe' practice," he says, removing a handgun from his pants with one hand before attaching a silencer swiftly with the other, far more swiftly than a drunk really should be able to.

The gun earns a cold wary glance. To be shot would be painful. But only so. To be made someone's bitch? Yui won't ever sink that low.

Yui flips the bottle from his hand toward the man's hand with a heart of defiance. It arcs low and hits the ground under the bench.

Yui frowns as his misses but recovers just well enough to make the miss seem intended. Maybe. "I guess your out of targets mister. I'll give you a twenty if you head off to find more." The twenty is in hand quickly. Yui offering the bargain to make creepy drunkard leave him in peace.
