Ariana glanced at David, perhaps they could both meet the newcomer. Perhaps his interests may be with either of their affiliations.
"Good evening." The Harpy smiled to Kaiden. "This is Heirophant Silver. What is your name, fellow Lord?" If anything, he was polite unlike someone earlier.
Kaiden nods politely at Hierophant Silver Hierophant - Acolyte title. Noted
"My name is Kaiden Kesom, of the Carthian movement. It's a pleasure to meet the both of you. I believe I may have heard your name around town, even, Regent. Your talent for spreading the "truth" is revered amongst the kine."
Even as he smiled and traded greetings with the Lady before him, his beast cowered in fear. Neonate or not, however, Kaiden was not one to let himself fall to his beast in a place like this.
Ariana laughed slightly. “If you are referring to the fact that I am the Harpy, Mr. Kesom; that is correct. I am always interested in seeking the truth, and learning about those in our city.” She looked to David smiling. “I was just speaking with the Heirophant recently about learning a little more.”
Knowledge has so much power within, she thought as she looked to the new Lord. “What brings you to our Domain, Mr. Kesom?” Ariana pleasantly asked Kaiden.

David nods his thanks at the Harpy's introduction. "Indeed, I bring positive news on that front Regent, but I am interested to hear from Mr. Kesom first, as my business is a bit more private." David fails to contain his pleasure at that statement, but he does keep himself to merely 'pleased' instead of the more accurate 'joyful'.
The winter comes, and its mood is infecting me already. Perhaps there is something to the notion of the position of Hierophant changing your spirit.
David almost slips into calling him Kaiden, but fortunately catches himself. While find in his own dealings, when the Invictus Harpy is around, its best to play slow. However, if he proves himself worthy, the new chorus might have a second new recruit.
Kaiden smiles and nods at Mr. Silver, pleased that he allowed him to take care of his business first.
"I have traveled here from the east coast to seek new business opportunities in a new market. I specialize in computer programming, hardware, and software design. Right now I'm acting as a self-employed consultant and technician, but I'd like to do something more long-term and stable."
Kaiden smiles wryly.
"At least, that's what I do for the Kine. For Kindred society, I'm much more... "Black Hat", and I can serve as a hacker and information specialist in service to the Prince. It is my hope that I can put my talents to good use here, and that said talents will be appreciated by this court."
Kaiden was pleased that this conversation has been going well. He'd forgotten how civil some Kindred to be.
Nodding to David, she was very interested to hear about the ritual they just had. Ariana had noticed in the last few years, the younger generation of Ventrue had been involved in the technology side of things. The need for Lordly ways had shifted to keep up with the times. She too was in that shift.
“You should have no issues finding employment in the city. Your field of expertise is highly sought out Mr. Kesom. There are a few others like yourself around our Domain. However, you should be acknowledged before you venture off too far.”
Smiling to both of the gentlemen, she asked Kaiden. “Has someone spoke to you about the Laws of our Domain? If so, do you have any questions regarding such?” Ariana wanted to know if the Lord had knew at least the basics of their city before she proceeded.
Kaiden nodded curtly.
"That is good to know, Miss Donovan. I look forward to sinking in. As for the Domain's Laws, I have just went over them with Miss Sage. I don't have any questions that immediately come to mind, as they seem pretty straightforward. However, miss Sage did mention she would introduce me to the Herald once she was done speaking with her. I look forward to becoming acknowledged in the city. Aside from speaking to the appropriate parties, what is required from me?"
Kaiden looks at Ariana inquisitively.
“It was wonderful Bailiff Sage went over the Laws with you. Should you ever have any questions regarding such, please do not hesitate to ask.” Ariana smiled with assurance.
“Herald Villiers may be quite busy this evening, I will grant you Temporary Acknowledgement for feeding purposes for two weeks in case you are unable to meet with her this evening.” She stood pleasantly and glanced at David occasionally. “In regards to your other requirements, regardless of Covenant, Loyalty to our Alder Prince Clarke and this Domain is something we take seriously.” She briefly thought back to the one who was just torpid at the hands of the beautiful Hound.
“I would also suggest being active in your Clan meetings or the Covenant of your choosing as well. Both of which will be held later this week.” The Harpy gestured to the board. “The Ventrue meeting will be at The Lily and the Carthian’s will be meeting on a small evening cruise.” Ariana stated wondering if Kaiden had any questions.
The Lordess looked to David for a moment, to see if he too had any thing to add.

If you are going to start something, don't hestitate. Charge forward, strike, and let the struggle afterwards be a learning experience.
"Do you have any religious affiliation Mr. Kesom? I ask, not seeking any offence, but entirely opposite; we in the Circle are looking at trying something new for those kindred who feel their religous needs are not fully met."
He may be speaking to Mr. Kesom, but it seems he can't stop switching his eyes to catch the Harpy's frequently. She is most assuredly important to this conversation.
"Aye, loyalty to the prince is always something to be expected. I believe that is all the questions and concerns I have regarding Acknowledgement. Thank you, Regent Donovan. I will seek out Herald Villiers as soon as I can. If I am not able to reach her, should I assume temporary acknowledgement, or should I come back to confirm it with you first? Also, what all does that acknowledgement entail? Does it only apply to your domain? Where am I allowed to feed? "
Kaiden pauses, and turns towards Mr. Silver.
Religious Affiliation... Good Question
"As far my spiritual needs, I'm not. spiritually or religiously affiliated with anyone currently. But I am interested in exploring my spirituality, as it were. As a mortal, I was raised in a Hindu household, but I grew more secular as life got more... difficult. Becoming a monster didn't really shake me out of that behavior. I feel that I need something more now, but I'm not sure what. It may be spiritual, or it my be temporal. I'm not sure yet, but I'm going to find out."
