Terri watched as Danny drew the weapon from the cane and around them, the shadows deepened. In the distance, thunder rolled as a raptor screeched, cutting through the night. Terri glanced up at the ceiling that gave the impression of a cloudy night sky. "Sorry, but the Hollow has a mind of its own sometimes. You should've seen the boar that roamed around here during Summer a year ago. He gave everyone the evil-eye."

As the changelings in the might Hollow spoke, thunder rolled through the room followed by the screech of a raptor, cutting the night sky with its invisible cry.

Rick's head snapped upward, then around, as the twin sounds split the air. Though they didn't come quite fast enough to let him catch sight of the cane sword before it was returned to its sheath. So he found his hand instinctively darting to his pocket, fingers curling around the nine-volt he always kept there as his eyes continued sweeping the throne room. His voice steady, but urgent, and certainly loud enough to be heard throughout the entirety of the space. "Something has alerted the Throne Room's Guardian."

Pocketing the address, Tally heads off to catch up with Al-Adin.
Tally exits scene
Spartan stands and makes his way over to the Autumn King. "Someone foolish enough to threaten us here?" Spartan looks to Rick and then to the Guardian.
Deadly looks decidedly confused as the invisable raptor keens, although the Dread Soverign's explanation doesn't do anything to reassure the Draconic. Sidling closer to a table, he begins to almost absently pats his pockets, checking for something among his usual knicknacks with which to defend himself.

The sound of thunder startled the Kelly as she wanders the room. And the announcement from the autumn king seems to make it worse. She quickly looks around the freehold not quite sure if she is safe here but unwilling to attempt to go out on her own at this point.
She presses herself against a wall as she looks through her messenger bag hoping she brought something that might be useful if things get out of hand.

The Hollow seems to revert back to normal, its invisible guardian's warning growl passing. Whatever had raised its heckles seems to have gone, too.
Tom had unconciously moved to be between Kelly and the door. He had been over protective before the Thorns, and it looked like some of the attitude had stayed with him. As he watched the Soverign Lord prepare for the threat, he had stood to his full height, broad barky shoulders tensing as he got ready to brawl.
As the tension seemed to diminish, he sighed at the jumpiness left in him. His nerves would take a while to calm down. Smiling he turned to Kelly and softly said, "Well that was unusual. I saw you do the pledge, are you new to town, or just renewing?"

Justin looked around....the hell was that....and inwardly what passed for his stomach tightened a bit as a Lost's instinctual reaction to the unknown threat kicked in. As the Guardian's roar faded away he could feel some of the tension leaving his body. Still, the Manikin didn't feel that comfortable with something having just happened and he had no idea what it was.
