Emily prowled through the dark woods of Granite State Park, immediately behind Matt and the rest of the pack behind her. With a bristle and a look towards the heaven, Emily decided against a howl to begin the hunt. They were no longer in the woods in New England, they were in a populated city on the physical side.
A howl might be too obvious.
She sniffed the air during the patrol, looking and smelling for suitable prey that their totem might appreciate.

Half loped behind the pack, eying the world around him. He notes where the loci they pass are and what spirits he can spot. He doesn't normally like the view on these trips, but at least the scenery to his sides looked nice.

There was a small coyote-like red wolf following near the back of the pack lazily loping along. She moved effortlessly keeping up with the others while making it look like she wasn't pushing herself hard at all. She disliked the fact that they were running in the physical side of the city in wolf form, but Alison didn't let her irritation show to the others. Besides she figured most people wouldn't know a wolf in California if it bit them.
Resisting the temptation to let her mind drift away to other things she kept focused on the hunt. Keeping her eyes open to see what they could find be it danger or prey. Given the fact that they were in the city she wasn't expecting much in the way of satisfying prey.

Matt wasn't a fan of the full wolf form. In fact of the Wolves present only Emily and maybe Alison had ever seen the Half Moon in this form. He had nothing to be ashamed of, his dark brown coat was clean and the fur close to close to perfect, the Elodoth looking every inch a proud creature. Which is why he tended to avoid this form ever since he'd learned the truth about his family and his parents, to him it everything was just a little too perfect. Still he forced those thoughts from his mind and led the pack to the area where they would hunt for a suitable creature to sacrifice to their Totem.
Once he was satisfied that such a creature was probably nearby, the Alpha turns and looks at his two Irraka, Elektra and Julio, motioning them forward. The Iron Master figured that this could double as a learning experience for each of them, the two No Moons had taken different paths to this point and each could teach the other something important. Elektra was young and growing into her Auspice but she'd been around the Pack since almost her First Change, she understood the need for the group to work together and what could be accomplished by using each other talents. Julio was a survivor and a scout, used to operating alone and using his wits and senses to get the drop on Prey or potential threats. Working together, Matt hoped, would allow them to learn from each other.
Using the communication abilities able, he addresses the two. *No Moons are scouts, take the lead, work together* It was time to take the training wheels off of Elektra and see what Julio could do.

Julio, loping along as a steady gait, each move a measure of predatory grace seems almost to nod when Matt gives his order. A quick double-barked <<Lets move>> escapes his lips as he charges off into the night, his midnight black fur melting into the darkness as he takes off, keeping Elektra in sight and making sure she is able to do the same.

Alison slowed to a stop when their alpha did so that he could issue instructions. She sat and slowly scanned the surrounding area with her head slowly while waiting for them to start again. When Matt starts again she'll follow and keep pace with the others.
Without receiving any instructions from their alpha, Alison maintined her silence. When she was in the military they called it 'noise discipline' and it was a habit that seemed to come second nature to her in the field.

Elektra, her blond coat of fur somewhat odd compared to the others, nods her head and leads with Julio, spread out wide enough that the two of them cover more ground while still maintaining sight with the other Irraka.

|
Half lopped to a haul and waited, sitting down and continuing to look around him. His ears perked forward, flicking to take in the world around him. His nose twitches as he sniffs the air. He seems much less reserved as a wolf, his Grey black fur turning red towards the bottom of his body, as if he had waded through so much red clay.

Emily just as quietly falls back next to her fellow Blood Talon. She is just as silent - yellowed wolf eyes scanning the darkness and her snout sniffing for traces of anything, any threat or prey, that might impact the well being of her pack.

As the Irraka take the lead, Matt keeps the Pack moving behind the pair of scouts. The Elodoth had seen Emily slide back to where Alison was and felt complete confidence in the pair of the Blood Talons to watch their rear as they moved together. The Half Moon kept the Crescent Moon Half nearby so that each member of the six Uratha pack had a partner to cover them, the No Moons in front, then Half and himself and finally the Rahu and Cahalith.
