Jennifer sits in her straight backed chair in Bytes computer hub, or some other terribly punned computer lab.

She begins by casting a wide net with
'meaning of flowers' in Google. She follows the prompt to a wiki page; which she reads with interest.

Taking up her pen; she begun the task of jotting down favorable flower meanings onto her pad. When she had nearly a dozen; she opened up several other tabs; typing 'flower type grows in california'.

Leaving her pad for the moment; she began browsing the web sites.

At each flower found in California, she placed a '+' next to it on the pad. She worked for quite awhile, roving through the list.
  • Acacia friendship
  • Agrimony * Thankfulness. Gratitude
  • Almond Stupidity. Indiscretion
  • Mignionette * Your qualities surpass your charms
  • Peach* Your qualities, like your charms, are unequaled
  • Primrose, Red Unpatronized merit

The Invictus hopeful notes the flower meanings beside the names, hoping to
memorize them later

She notes that Almond is not the quality she wishes to express to the
recipient of her intended bouquet, but she had in mind just who to prepare a sprig of Almond for.

Signing out of the computer lab, she noted her computer card still had ten
dollars. Her first stroke of luck in awhile.

Opening her cell phone outside the hub; she brought up her GPS application
and searched for floral nurseries. Deciding on Fair Oaks Boulevard Nursery, she called a cab.

She texted Ricardo and Nao with her intended location; as was habit when she relocated. Paranoia bit the young occasionally.

Upon arriving at the nursery, she found herself immediately taken with the
beauty.

I'll have a garden one day. She promised herself, walking towards an
employee with purpose.

She manages to purchase cuttings of her choices, writing down the costs and
listening intently to the worker describe the soil and care they each needed.
Luck abiding, she may be able to have her own growing one day.

En route home; she made a stop at a local craft store and purchased ribbon in gold, silver, purple and indigo.

At her haven; she places the almond and acacia in water.
Then she settled at the small round table with the flowers and ribbon. She began to arrange the flowers into a pleasant bouquet; choosing smaller
buds and blooms to be set aside.

She tied the bouquet with the colors of purple and gold, symbolizing the
Ventrue.

For the flower lapel pin, she folded the silver ribbon into a nice firm square,
sewing it with toning thread. She plucked up the smaller buds symbolizing the
same qualities that she wished to convey to the new regents.

Tying them with the indigo ribbon, she pressed the arrangement to the silver
ribbon and sewed the ribbon to the silver, attempting to hide the stitches.

She sets her creations down, examining them on the table.
"Ricardo, what do you think?" She asks; rising to search out the coterie mate
she'd asked over.
