The Winter courtier was about as eager to get caught in a press of bodies gravitating towards commotion as she was to step in front of an avalanche, so she deftly stayed put beside the bar. Besides, why would one want to stand in the spotlight when they could stand hidden in the darkness at it's side and watch every illuminated action and gesture with the clarity of non-involvement?

"Mayhaps this just one of the old problems in a new skin? It sounds like an old one, yay? But, without regards, I'm right behind you. After I get my drink, I mean," the Darkling said, glittering eyes riveted to the scene before them. She trusted Yui's judgment, especially since she knew very little about the Freehold.
Rook moved in just behind Spartan, because he had duties, and he took them seriously. He had been made a policeman of Summer and the Freehold, and he was untried and untested in that role. It had belonged to another him, a long time ago, but realistically the two men were so divergent that they might as well be seperate people.
They were seperate people. That man still lived, still had a wife and children, and presumably did not know he was once a bundle of twigs. All he knew, all Rook hoped to God that he knew, was that there was a strange creature out there that vaguely resembled him and had fucked up his dream.
He couldn't shake the weight of it.
The Metalflesh didn't speak- the Kings of the Freehold had the situation under control, but he wanted to see what Swilla had to say for himself. Although from his outburst, he might just slug Rust one right there.

Swilla ignores the gathering crowd, and instead focuses on the Elemental in fron of him. His huge fists were clenched, though, which was never a good sign.
"Yeah, and what was this bitch's name? Who has said Swilla helped Loyalist scum? I'll grind their bones to dust!"
The Winter Queen also joins the commotion, edging her way to the front, standing beside her Sovereigns of Summer and Autumn.
"Swilla, you will calm yourself, yes?" Katrin said to the Winter Beast, her tone serene but brooking no argument. Swilla, removing his sights from Rust Mane, regained some measure control. "Fine, but I still want answers...." he replies, sullenly.

The Manticoress looked over in the direction of the gathered onlookers and raised voices...it was a draw to her natural Feline Curiosity. Now, this is much more interesting than the usual offerings...a dinner and a show was the main thought that was running through Juno's mind at the moment. The corners of her mouth twitched slightly as she watched the others go at it.
In a way it was sad, because she couldn't remember any Court in recent memory where there wasn't some manner of....agitation....taking place.

"Hasn't this happened before?" Al-Adin asks as they head over. The smile on his face seems a little wider, does he seem to be making fun of himself here?

Al-Adin follows nightfall, and heads over to join the commotion. He stays behind Nightfall, ready to provide support to whatever his best friend says. His mantle shifts by proximity to the dawn courtier, the giggling and laughing of children shifts to the hacking laughter of old men.
Abigail is about to say something but the commotion between Rust and Swilla draws attention away from the conversation.
"Of course." The fairest replies to the king with an understanding look. She watches the group quickly forming around the duo and she begins to wonder on how will the situation will be resolved.

Rust nods to Swilla once and then looks expectantly at Xerxia.
The Otter is unsurprisingly absent. The Docter is too.
