"What do you see Tally?" Spartan asks once the HunterHeart has made it through the hedge. Spartan looks over to Wyatt and Justin, "How are we doing Wyatt, Justin?" Spartan asked looking to the other two and the Beast they are watching.
"There is a house here, though the grounds look rather unkempt." Tally reports while sporting a relieved look on her face. "Doesn't look like anyone lives here." She adds as she takes a few steps into the Hollow.
She unclips her bottle of water and takes a sip from it before putting the lid back on it. Once it's reclipped back on her belt loop, she glances over her shoulder to look at the gap in the Hedge.
"Whatever it is, sir, it just seems to be watching us."
Justin glanced around at his surroundings. No wonder people didn't go into the Hedge for pleasure jaunts. The place didn't exactly have that warm and inviting feel to it.
'Indeed.' A moment Wyatt glances back to nod to Spartan. 'I can't say it likes our presence though...'
The creatures creeping around could overwhelm them any moment though, he believes.
Spartan looks between Justin and Wyatt. Wyatt has a sword and looks as if he can use it, "Justin, your next. Pass through the brambles but be careful as you do." Spartan says and steps up next to Wyatt, holding his Spear up. "Once Justin is through Wyatt, you are next." Spartan says with a look to Wyatt and then focuses on the Beast.
Tally merely waits for the others to come through, making sure to stand a short distance away in case something happens and they need some help fending off something or someone. She tries not to turn her back onto the house as she might miss something moving in between two locations.
It is impossible to tell how many of the creatures are stalking them from the shadows, but they do catch glimpses here and there as the beasts begin circling closer to the group.
Anyone squeezing through the gap in the Briars must roll their Wyrd. Failure means they lose one point of Glamour to the Thorns. Those staying behind must roll Initiative.

'Oh fuck no!' Wyatt holds his curved sword in front of him. He looks over his shoulder to see if Spartan noticed what was happening.
If Justin hurries there was a chance they could all go through the gap unharmed.
Initiative 11
Splitting the party was rarely a good idea. Justin had learned that through numerous instances of watching party PKs taking place at the gaming tables in the shop. However, this was a real situation, not a dungeon crawl based on cheeto-pollen stained paper and dice, so it was perhaps best he placed his trust in their leader. Without a word, the Manikin made his way over to the gap and squeezed through.
