Terri seemed to ignore the fight. Instead, anyone taking even a remote bit of interest in her would see how she seems to be staring in confusion at Katrin's body. Raising her voice, she shouts, pointing at the pink vapour emiting from the Winter Queen's mouth and nostrils.
"WAIT! DID ANYONE JUST SEE THAT?! THE VAPOUR TURNED RED!"

"I saw!" Sam yells through gritted teeth, and the combination of the Ogre's blow and the sudden change in Katrin sharpen Barkley's focus and gives his strike a sense of terrible urgency. "GO DOWN, DAMN YEW!" Harvey was one tough nut, but maybe Sam brought enough 'cracker this time.

Rust watches the wisps float from Sam and Terri torward Katrin. With a moments thought he comes to a quick conclusion.still up
"Don't invoke the Wryd people! Katrin is some sort of vessel." Rust commands in his King Voice as stumbles forwardwith his Brother's spear.
Another thought is Katrin is earnign for Glamour. But seeing this disease is contagious, that it is warping Harvey's mind. ANd that other fae present have experienced it's like before means feeding the un-Katrin would be unwise. "We need a fire. The body must be burned." Bodies? Hopefully Harvey would not have to be put down. "Sam, take care. No one touch Harvey or Katrin!"
Maybe he is stating the obvious. Rust would not be upset if that were the case. He just wishes he could smack the Winter thug out of his misery personally. If only to speed Rust's desire to see a threat crushed. As he is Rust doubts he would be anything but in the way.

Combat ends.
Sam's staff squarely hits Harvey's temple with a resoundingly hollow thud. The ogre blinks once, then falls to the ground, his eyes rolling up into his head. However, even as he falls, he protectively holds Katrin's body out of harm's way. A few motes of Glamour float away from the triumphant wizened and seem to get inhaled into the dead queen's nostrils. After Terri calls their attention to it, the other changelings also notice the wispy vapor and its now blood red hue.

Jack is just about to step in to try to end the fight when Sam makes the point rather moot. Shaking his head at the total waste of time and energy, Jack only half listens to the Summer King's outburst. He's surprised to find that he actually thinks Rust is making sense for once. Looking up over at the wounded lion, the good doctor notices for the first time how badly injured the man is and moves over to his side in order to dress his wounds.
"Okay. Hold still. Lemme have a look at you."
Luckily, Rust doesn't seem to have sustained anything too serious, and after a few minutes, Jack assures him that some rest will be the best cure for him.
"Why the hell didn't you ask for help?"
Jack's efforts heal 1B of Rust's wounds.

Sam doesn't savor the victory; it wasn't a waste, to his mind. Sometimes a soldier loses his sanity and its up to the next man to knock 'em out, throw 'em over their shoulder, and bear their comrade-in-arms to safety. And that's all Barkley's done. Which is why even the paranoid Doomed one shoots Rustmane a double take when the King commands no one touch him. "Whut, yew just wanna leave him under her to die? Bugger that. Anyone scared of a lil bit of fancy cee-gee-I back up to a safe distance. I'm gettin' Harv away from her poisoned, mebbe jury-rigged body, an' god rest her soul. I could use a hand, but I don't need one, see?" Barkley lays his staff down in front of him and rolls his sleeves over gnarled hands to move the body, but waits several moments for others to find cover should they wish for it.

Rust shrugs away from Jack the moment the Docter seems to finish. "Latter, see to Harvey."
The Summer King gingerly hobbles off a few yards to tear off a sullen banner from where it lay under machinery. He hurries back and throws the cloth over Katrin. "Pull him out from under her." Rust tries to find a hold on the body of the loved Queen while not exposing himself to the poison eating away at Harvey. Lifting up to help Sam free Harvey.

Rick's eyes widened slightly as he noticed the...wisps, appear to seep into Katrin. Then narrowed as his mind started racing with the possible implications. Was this another effect of the poison...or was something else afoot? As Rust shrugged jack offRick drifted over alongise him, keeping his voice pitched low. "You examined her earlier...are you sure it's actually Katrin? With those wisps getting sucked into her...is there any chance it could be some manner of simulacrum?"

"Yeh might be on to sumthin' there, Rick. But give us a sec to stop'er meltin' our boy here." Sam nods at Rust and seeing that no one wished to move away, he tells the lion, "On three, eh? One, two, three!" He lifts Katrin by the ankles, letting Rust get the other end, and with his hands still wrapped in his jacket, off the Ogre. If they're able to get her off with no trouble, he would reclaim his staff and ponder the wisps of Glamour.
Sam fails to understand.
"Bugger me," he would say, picking his nose a bit.

Jack narrows his eyes at the Summer King's brusque order in lieu of gratitude.
"Yeah, you're welcome..."
Douchebag. You're not my fucking king, so what makes you think you can order me around like that?
However, Rick manages to interrupt Jack's indignant thoughts and get the wizened focused on more important matters with his rather interesting questions.
"I dunno. Could be... I'm not sure."
Leaning over Harvey, the good doctor uses the last shred of strength left to call upon his connection to Spring in an attempt to heal the Winter Courtiers vile-smelling wounds. Afterwards, Jack looks completely spent and like he could sleep for a week.
