When it becomes apparent that Harvey will not give up Katrin's body, Terri could understand his grief, yet seeing the Ogre's flesh tear away, Terri had to try and convince the man depiste her own tiredness. Willing the glamour to flood her seeming, Terri's normally friendly demeanour grows even more so, her compassion becoming a sanctuary for Harvey's pain. However, as she begins to speak, something holds her back, stutters the Beast's words, more than likely the many sacrifices the day has brought.

"Harvey, let us help you carry the burden. She was your Queen, yes, yet she was also our Queen too. We owe her the respect to honour her thus."

Sam nods solemnly in thanks at those who had volunteered to bear the dead. "Right then, Harv," Barkley says, wasting no more time once the damage to Harvey is revealed. Persuasion hadn't worked and the Ogre's time was short. But he could knock out the crazy person, even if he couldn't knock the crazy out of the person. "Its the stick fer yew." Sam hefts his staff with both hands and prepares to strike the Ogre's temple and knock his lights out in one go.

Harvey - Sam

Harvey is holding his action. Sam is up.

Although Harvey actually appears to listen to Terri's words, he shrugs them off as meaningless. However, if the Sun Banisher is currently beyond the reach of either reason or compassion, there is still one thing that is capable of snapping him out of his fugue state... and it would appear that Sam found it. Violence. Catching the Dusk Courtier's attempt to take him unawares, Harvey's eyes lose their dull appearance and his gaze turns suddenly cold and sharp. Taking a step back he seems ready to move this way or that as Sam prepares to attack.

Everyone needs to make a Reflexive Clarity roll.

[Sam Barkley]

Barkley goes for the Sun Banisher's temple, hoping to knock the Ogre out in a single blow and avoid any unnecessary damage; he gives no Glamour to his weapon so it doesn't bite his ally. The Contract of Stone empowers the tiny man's muscles, but the bobbing and weaving throw off his aim a bit...he hopes it will be enough, he has no desire to truly fight the Changeling in front of him.

Sam is up.

Although Harvey manages to evade the full force of Sam's swing, the wizened'd staff still smacks against his left temple. Sam feels the vibrations travel back down the staff to his arms as the wood connects with the stonebone's alabaster head. Not only does Harvey immediately shake off the attack, he doesn't look amused. Still holding Katrin in his arms, Glamour wafts from the Winter Courtier as he lifts one leg and tries to plant a foot squarely in the Dusk Courtier's face.
