*Max returns the nod of greeting to Conner, turning towards the man as he approaches.* Good evening Deputy Greyson. Is this something we should discuss in private?

"No sir, just a standard report. Nothing but some street thugs, but they were dealt with. No risks to the Masquerade or the domain to report at this time sir." Conner says with a nod to the Reeve.
David enters court, taking the elevator. Marvelous invention, and without all of the trouble of tripping on the stairs. He is ready to begin another round of the dance. He seems relaxed and at ease. Hopefully some new potential recruits will show themselves tonight.
Barring that, he would hopefully meet more of the invictus, and focus on improving relationships.
Entering court proper, he doesn't spot anyone he recongizes and wants to talk to, so he settles into a relaxed pose, open for anyone to meet him.
Trip has watched the comings and goings, anxiously awaiting the pronounced arrival of the Prince, or Seneschal, or anybody worth flattering incessantly, but this Court is either held by the most modest Elders he'd known or, more likely, they weren't coming. He shook the pangs of disappointment. Of course, they weren't here, where any old vampire can just walk in. He contented himself with he had learned. Polite nods seemed the order of the day, perhaps some of those were important but he couldn't tell much from that and he didn't know anyone, so he couldn't very well try it himself yet. Next time, the eager Mekhet told himself, he'd come to Court and nod like a big shot. There were wallflowers and debutantes both, and he's had enough of acting the former; he gets himself up, puts on a smile, and glides towards Cassandra, determinedly looking at her phone and not the Kindred in shades nearby. Trip can dig that style, and smiles faintly at the loner as he passes by. "Excuse me," he says to Cassandra, trying hard to keep a quiet, unshakeable confidence in his voice as is appropriate for a dark master of the eternal night, or at the very least, some bass. "I'm Trip, just in from L.A, and couldn't pass up the opportunity to meet you, miss...?"
Sidor strolled back to his spot against the walls, feeling he'd done what had been communicated to him with the look the Harpy had given him. It had been slightly depressing, over too soon and far too easy to do. He vaguely considered it was probably that he'd not really been able to indulge the urge properly in a while, and it was likely that he was just straining at the bounds he kept his personality within. It would be better if he could find a suitable vessel to feed from tonight.
The Barrens could be depressingly free of the corruption he craved in his victims. He supposed he would just have to make do. His eyes skimmed the Court, and he looked for anyone who looked like they might feel like a conversation with a Nosferatu this evening.
John goes and tries to find somewhere he can sit down while waiting for the Harpy to finish with Lance. If he could turn red with embarrassment he would.
Yes. She had seen it all. Head shaking with disappointment and pity as she was, Alice makes her way over to John. With her hands put together she sits down next to her fellow Daeva, looking in front of her instead of to him.
'Some guys can be really depressing around here, can't they?' She inclines her head John's way with a smile, 'You really have to find some better people to hang out with.' Wink.
'Now I don't want to force you to do things you don't want to... but eh, I just want to let you know I'm free.' Another short smile as she continues to look in front of her.
She was helping him on the way with a little game, and if he played it with her, now was the time to say hello.
Alice was exactly one of the people John wanted to see right now. He listens and then wonders what Alice has in mind. not making eye contact he says in a low tone,
"Oh yes people can be depressing, even more so when you make an ass out of yourself in front of the whole court."
John allows a smile to cross his face. Alice sounded like she had some sort of plan he was very intent to hear what it was.
"There is nothing you can force me to do, so what do you have in mind?"
If was anything to help him save his ass, or something more fun than sitting around in the shame corner.
