Summer, such and odd season to him now. Samuru moved about carefully, keeping his tail up (then again, it was always up) and his eyes on the streets.
He had traveled far, but he hoped that here things would be a bit better.

The Beast notices a young woman walking toward him with two grocery bags. She's pretty, for her type, and sways slightly to the unheard music of her iPod as she walks. Samuru notices that she also drips oil from her hair and skin as she approaches. She gives him an apprehensive look at first, but her face quickly eases into a friendly smile as she gets closer.

When the funny little dog man ignores her, Emma simply shrugs and walks the rest of the way home with her groceries.
