When his mentor had told Keystone he was leaving and to basically get on with it, the Moros was at least pleased that the gruff bastard had given him some contact details. When Keystone read it was in Sacramento, he didn't even get a chance to answer; his mentor had gone with a sickly pop! as space reworked itself back together.
So, here Keystone stood; inside the lobby of the Wells Fargo building. Leaning against the reception, he spoke with his usually quiet voice, asking if Mr. Eclipse was available.
"Have a good day to you too," he murmurs, heading to the elevator, which fortunately had just arrived. Pressing the button for the 28th floor, Keystone found himself humming along with the crappy music that seems to haunt every elevator in every building around the globe.
"For Stygia's sake, let this pain end," he sighs, pinching his nose before taking a deep breath as the doors open, stepping through to the floor's lobby and looking around.
Keystone finds himself in the reception area of what resembles, in many ways, a law office. There's nobody behind the reception desk and the room is empty.
Keystone wanders up to the desk and looks for a button or anything that'll call a receptionist but when that proves unsuccessful, he goes for the old fashion verbal call.
Mirage steps through the door leading to the office in the back and makes her way over to the reception desk. She smiles at Keystone as she walks, her lips lifting her cheeks with a soft elegance. [color=#999999]"Welcome."[.color] Her strong, clear, courtroom, voice says in response to him. "Here to speak with the Deacon?" She asks.
Holy moly, Keystone thinks upon seeing Mirage, instantly struck by her looks. Then, remembering he was entering a world of mages, some of whom could potentially read his surface thoughts, thought Sorry about that.
"That's correct," he smiled, as close as he could to a smile. It resembled more of a smirk. It was something he would need to work on.
Mirage seems to have seen Keystone checking her out, her eyes sparkle at him and her smile grows. Apparently she enjoys the attention. "Right this way." She turns strikingly and Keystone can watch her supple form sway gently as she walks over to the door she came from only minutes ago, silvery heels clicking softly on the tile of the waiting room. She opens the door and at first closes it behind her.
Keystone can hear the tones of her voice and the Deacon's but can't make out the words they speak. When she appears again she steps aside holding the door for him. "Deacon Eclipse will see you now." She smiles at him pleasantly as she welcomes him into the office.
