Out Grappled
The Gangrel were able to wrestle the LIVE grenade out of his hand and find the strength of wills with the grenade almost makes it come loose.

Daniel doesn't know much, but he knows that there is now a live frag grenade rolling around the floorboards of the car he's sitting in.
Without giving it another thought the Gangrel opens the door and purposely falls out of the car, hitting the asphalt with a hard thud and rolling until he stops.

Katrinas hand pulls the door handle, she bails out of the car, laughing manically as she rolls out of the car and tucks herself up to protect herself. Smithy was going to die, he would not reach the front of the car before he crashed or the grenade exploded.
Dana pushes the door open and jumps; as soon as she can, she rises from the ground and seeks cover.
Technically Smithy was dealt with, and she hoped that was good enough for Roxie. But it seemed as they had something else on their hands right now. What the fuck was that about anyway? The blood, the mumbling? Whatever it was - it stank.
With the four Gangrel diving out of the car all they could heard was "HaIL MaRy FulL oF GraCe"
