Revenge hits Jack like a punch to the kidneys, bringing with it the coppery aftertaste of blood. It rolls off Janet in waves.
Sandy turns her head to stare in even more fear as the were-otter blocks her escape.
"Just leave us alone!" she cries, her eyes wet.

Jack lifts his blood-stained hands in a gesture of supplication.
"All right, everyone just calm down, okay?"
The good doctor wonders who or what could be the cause of Janey's intense desire for revenge. Focusing on his ties to Fate, Jack attempts to see an Omen of what event has caused her so much pain.

Xerxia looks around at her companions and decides to shrug off the hardened Mask, which mostly only makes her ears grow long and pointy like a stereotypical elf's. This is starting to look like a conspiracy if both of these people are Fetches... It would suck if Sandy is just Ensorcelled, though...
The Fairest looks between Janet and Sandy before asking rather bluntly, "Do either of you two know a man named Fairweather?" She also decides to add a little luck on her side for whatever might happen as a result of asking this question.

Dr. Jack feels his knees quiver from the vision he beholds....
Janey, younger by a few years, has her hands around the throat of another female, tears streaming down her face. Nearby, a cracked picture lays briefly forgotten. Within it, Janey is standing by her family. A line of blood splatters the cracked frame. The strangled woman stops moving, her final death rattle short. Janey pulls her hands to before her eyes as they grip nothing more than a broken stick as she kneels in a pile of twigs, leaves and flitting shadows.
....while the name thrown by Xerxia gathers no reaction whatsoever. Katie moves forward a single step. "You're not going to hurt anyone else," she says, glaring.
"Hurt anyone? You're the one that walked out on me!" Sandy screamed.
"I'm not talking to you," Katie replied, looking beyond her ex-housemate to Sandy's lover. Janey's hands tighten around whatever it is she is holding.

"Janey, you don't want to do this. I know that everything must seem very confusing right now... that nothing makes sense... But, this isn't going to bring her back. Why don't you tell us what's going on? What happened to you?"
Jack concentrates on transforming her desire for revenge into a need to explain herself.

"You don't understand," Janey says, revealing herself fully. Her short blonde hair seems to grow alive as each wiggles like a thousand tiny worms and her skin grows even more pale to the extent of turning a sickly green shade. Goosepimples spreads across exposed flesh of everyone as her stark appearance brings forth memories of what lurks under dark rocks. "This thing does ot deserve the mockery it has been given," she adds, her mouth but a wet slip like a knife wound across the throat. The garrote in her hand tightens.
Otto finds that his words have no effect on Sandy whatsoever but her eyes do widen at what she is seeing. Suddenly, her body begins to vibrate as the shadows within the house deepen and little tricks of the light catch the eye.
"Both of you, sit the f*@k down..now." Otto barks. Snakey hair, weird shadows, Otto was now officially over whatever was going on.

With the shout, Janey flinches. The lights splutter around Sandy.
