"Yup!" Al-Adin heads over to lane 2. "So, how do you do this?" He grins, scratching the back of his head.
|

Yata cocks her head at Al in a rather bird-like manner.
"You pick up one of those heavy balls and roll it at the pins down there. Well, it's empty now, but they come out of the ceiling. I promise."
She watches the end of the lane intently, waiting for the pins to appear.

Al-Adin starts picking up the balls, before deciding on a bright purple one with glitter. Because everything is more awesome with sparkles. It has a bright 16 on it in gold letters.
Al-Adin looks over at the other bowlers, getting the gist of the technique. "And so I throw the ball and knock them all down right? Do I throw it really hard or is it supposed to be gentle?" He tosses the ball back and forth like its more akin to a rubber ball for all the problems he has with the weight and smoothness. He has a feral grin on his face, and is quite happy.

"I think harder is always better, isn't it?"
Yata asks innocently. Looking over at the counter, she appears to consider the man behind it.
"I think we have to talk to him to get the pins to stop hiding."

Al-Adin nods, spinning the ball in his palm as he walks up to the counter.
"Can we play over there?" Al-Adin points to the lane they were at, putting a $20 bill on counter, reading the prices above the counter.

After nodding to Al with a painfully bored expression, the man behind the counter takes the twenty and hands the Beast his change.
"One hour. What sizes?"
Only then does the spinning sixteen pound ball in the smaller man's hand register. The man's expression changes as his eyebrows raise and his jaw goes a bit slack.

"As big as we can!" Al-Adin smiles. Not sure what sizes of what, but bigger is ALWAYS better. At least, thats what he keeps hearing.

|
After doing a double-take between the bowling ball and the Al's seemingly guileless expression, the man's face returns to it's former state of apathy. He could tell that this guy was just another joker trying to bust his chops. Well, he isn't going to give him the satisfaction.
"Shoe sizes. What're your shoe sizes?"
