Diana walks thru the woods reaches the road and hails a taxi, she feels much better now that she has gotten her times right. Being a Darkling she's much more at home in the night than the daytime. Diana had slept for three days in her new Hole in the Wall Hollow, she heads to the center of town the better to take in the night life of her new home.

Refreshed, yet ravenously hungry, Diana feels the urgent need to find some food, since she hasn't eaten for the three days she spent in her Hollow. The streets of Sacramento at night are full of people going home, going to work, and simply going out for the evening. She finds herself in the hustle and bustle of downtown on a dark and moonless night, with only the streetlights and the neon glow of local businesses lighting the sidewalks.

One thing Diane needed if she was going to survive was money, she'd arrived penniless and the debacle at the bank showed her that she wouldn't be taken seriously because she looked so young. Well, she reverted to basics and began picking pockets as she went.

Diane shadows her first victim for an entire block before she moves in and deftly removes his wallet from his hip pocket. He doesn't notice a thing. However, she notices about eighty dollars in cash and two credit cards. Hoping to score just a bit more cash, the Darkling spots a petite redhead walking by herself and moves in to attempt to score a second time.
Her second victim needs to roll Wits + Composure to catch her in the act.

It had been a good day at the store. Terri had sold a few dresses to a group of women who had a wedding coming up and were looking for something unique, which is what Treetop Fashions prided itself on. After locking up, Terri had to go grocery shopping before heading home, which in itself was always weird.
Too many mundies for my liking.
And it was with this thought when she felt a hand dip into the pocket of the coat. Glancing around, she cried out before actually looking at the fae properly.
"HEY!"

Diane looks up as the woman yells, realizing she's a fellow Changeling she curses, "I'm sorry, ma'am, I didn't realize you were like me." Diane hands the woman back her wallet and bolts.

Terri may chase Diane if she wishes. She will need to make 5 Extended Rolls(at +1 due to her Speed). If Terri gets cumulative successes equal to, or more than Diane at any point, she has caught the would-be pick pocket. However, Diane still needs six more successes to out run Terri.

Terri curses as her property is shoved back in her hand and the Darkling races away.
"You little bitch!"
And with that, Terri bolts after Diane, emptying her mind of all obstacles around her, just like Al had shown her and turned the act of running into something pure and fun.
It did not last long....
Waiting for CW to see what he wants Terri to roll next...

Diane doesn't get more than a few steps away from the Beast. Terri not only catches up to her within seconds, but also manages to step in front of the Darkling, blocking her escape route.

Seeing the redhead in front of her makes Diane realize she'd not deling with an inexperienced Changeling so, she pours on more speed. Diane decides to test her would be victim to see just how good she is. "Catch me if you can, Red," Diane said issuing the challenge.
