Kathleen just listened silently to the conversation going on. She bore no ill will to those who went looking for the Winter queen. It was certainly an important thing to do.

But finding this tickle and undo the damage he had done was equally, if not more, important.

She prepares herself to follow the orders that are bound to be given.

'' Ok, I, for myself, am ready. How should we proceed for this hunt ? Should we split out or stay together. And where do we start ?

Sorry, if my questions might seem a little bit straightforward or stupid, but this is my first Ash run. I just want to do it right. ''

She then turns her attention towards the hight ranking members of the freehold, waiting for their orders.

Marcus nods, standing ready to assist Rick however the leader of the Run might need him.

Edward's face breaks into the smile of a simpleton as the Legate hands him the toy soldier. After some prompting, he winds the toy and it's arms and legs begin to move back and forth, marching to the sound of an unseen drummer. As he sets it down, the little soldier strides purposefully toward the entrance to the Vietnam Memorial. As it reaches the pillars, the Hedge Gate opens, revealing the untamed wildness on the other side. Tickle's automaton walks over the threshold and into the Thorns.

Last chance to take an action before entering the Hedge. We will be continuing the Ash Run in a new Hollows scene.

Rust digs in to his baseball bag and pulls out a tin lunch box, inside is piece of ice, which Rust quickly begins to chew.

Within a moment Rust stand ready with a metal vest under his jacket, HIs body gains strength from his connection with Summer.

Rust looks to Rick hes the lunch tin is replaced in the baseball bag, He was Ready and understood the objective.

His hand dipped into his pocket as he made his way to the newly-opened Hedge Gate, pressing against the contacts of the nine-volt he always carried. The catch fulfilled, he called upon his pacts with lightning, and his body was suddenly shrouded in protective arcs of electricity. "Let's go."

And just like that, The Magi of Gilded Thorns was the first to step over the threshold in pursuit of their prey.

Terri watched as the toy figure marched across the trod and into the Hedge, and when Rick activated his connection to lightning, she brought out into the mundane her own right to remove part of herself from the limitations of gravity, in this case her delicate footwear being the stepping stone to Separation. The next step was to call on a more natural part of her Wyrd and that was to increase her instinct to her surroundings, her ears suddenly twitching with hidden sounds. Finally happy, Terri followed Rick through the gate.

Contracts Activated

Seeing all the others changeling activating their powers, Young Kathleen decides to do the same with the only usefull one she had at her disposal.

She draws a lighter from her pocket, turn it on and has her hand quickly touch the flame. As she does so, the flame rapidly start to spread around her body, without inflicting any damage and she was now covered in an armor made of living flame.

That trick saved her hide a few times when she had to confront the hunter of stilled voice's shadow hounds as they were vulnerable to fire.

But enough digression, the ash run needs to be completed. There is time later to go to memory lane. She follows the other lost through the edge...

Armor of the element activation (catch fulfilled)

((Stouie is spending 2 Glamour to activate Armor of the Element's Fury))

Stouie watched the hedge open, he smiles as the toy soldier crossed into the hedge and noticed those around activate their contacts
He was amazed that one was fire, chuckling he used his glamour and acitvated his Elemental contract armoring himself with his own element. As the water sirrounded Stouie he lost himself with in it, he tried becoming one with it and could only manage so far to just armor himself. As what appeared to be a normal man slowly and fliudly disappeared, Stouie felt at most, like he whole as it engulfed him as he followed the others into the hedge t find Mr. Tickle.

Watching all of the elemental armors flare up as they walked in made Xerxia a little jealous. She recalled numerous encounters at taverns in His world of wizardly people doing all sorts of prestidigitation, juggling varieties of elements, making spectators' drinks dance and bounce to other tankards, or even just producing detailed smoke rings like the one Gandalf the Grey did in the first movie.

Shaking herself out of her reverie, she pulls out a whetstone and begins sharpening her main hand dagger, infusing Glamour into each stroke. After half a minute, she is surprised to notice the Contract fail on her.

The Sun's Tongue tries again, more vigorously grinding the blade as her Mantle boils and bubbles. This time she feels the enhancement take hold, though the elf continues to move stiffly, clearly bothered that she ended up wasting energy that might have proven more useful later in this journey.

Barkley nods at Rick's speech; it was sufficient. He nearly laughs at Rust's impatience. The Wizened keeps an eye out for Loyalist spies while the others light up the Memorial like the Fourth of July with all their fancy Contracts and doo-hickeys. The Doomsayer is already as prepared as he needs to be. Once the toy soldier is through, Sam follows, ready to finally track down his mad cousin.

Marcus sees his King call upon their Season, and decides to follow suit. Pausing only to first draw upon the Favor of Fate, the Constable soon feels his muscles and sinews burning with the stength of Summer. A single beam of sunlight breaks through the overcast sky as he does so. It's probably just a coincidence. Marcus gives Sam a meaningful look as his Wizened friend barrels headlong into the Hedge. The Metalflesh is probably the only person who understands just how important this mission is to the Woodwalker. Adjusting the straps of his rucksack, he brings up the rear of the group and steps over the threshold separating the sane world from what lies on the other side.
