John takes care of business in the restroom, grabs a paper towel and then acts like he is on the phone as he heads out. He tells the nurse while pointing to the exit "thank you, but I have to take this call." John heads out of the ER exit.
Looking down he spies the blood that has yet to have been cleaned up. He wipes some up with the paper towel folds it neatly and pockets it.
Dee walks as far as need be to find some momentary seclusion. Doing so he reaches in the depths of reality pulling himself back to the junkyard.
