Tom was hurrying down the street, coming home late from work. He was a few blocks from Downtown and debated stopping at one of the bars or clubs for a beer, but decided against it.
Night owls were starting to come out and start their evenings, but there wasn't a whole lot of people out and about this time of night.
Out of nowhere, a tall man with a long dark coat and long, scraggly hair appeared to jump in front of him. The stranger put his arm around Tom's shoulders, squeezing tightly. "Where are you rushing off to? let's go have some fun!!" The man propelled Tom forward to a car. The stranger leaped up onto a car driving down the street. The car screeched to a halt,but he didn't even lose his balance. The man smiled as he brought both his hands down and smashed the hood he was standing on.
As Tom and bystanders gaped in disbelief, the man jumped on top of the roof of the car, denting it in. He then sprung up and disappeared onto the rooftop of a nearby, 10 story building, cackling all the way.

Ania stood in the shadow of the building which had just faced the damaging leap of the odd man. She gave a slight shriek in her surprise before running quickly across the street. She looked on in her panic. She was on her way to one of the local bars for some excitement but, this was much more interesting.
