Ahhh…what a crazy night.
This had been new. Normally Char was so secretive with her haven and not so forward with new strangers.
It must have to do with this city. Char thought to herself.
Oh well….it was worth it.
She gets up, making sure not to wake up Coda. She grabs her phone and walks into the other room.
Now back to business.
Char types Ambassador Durazzo’s email into her blackberry and starts a new email.
Ambassador-
Lot’s of strange activity going on in the city. Emma, the other Crone head was actually killed the other night. I have yet to find out by whom yet. Her circle didn’t really consist of anyone important from that I can tell. Paresh Williams has an extremely small following, like you said, but they seem to be legit. He doesn’t seem happy that I am here to check up. I know that there are a few Crone wanderers around town, but I don’t know why they choose not to join Paresh’s group. On another note, there is a lot of strange reportings in the paper of people being “drained” and “disappearing”. It seems like all the kindred are on edge.
Char was about to write that there was nothing of importance and that she was ready to return…but then she remembered last night and how much fun she had.
It wouldn’t hurt to stay a little longer. I never really make the time to enjoy myself. It is always work. I deserve a break now and then.
So she continued….
I will keep looking into things. Maybe I can help out with the problems that are occurring. We wouldn’t want our only small covenant, in such a state capital as this, to have something happen to them. I’ll report back in a few days.
