 welcome to the city Charles Black( attenchen Twist)

Charles parks his car in front of the Ballo Della notta he exits the car and begins to walk to the door of the theater. he is wearing his best suit he had to impress the second most powerful person in the city. he had to as a member of the Invictus and as a gentleman.

As he enters the theater he can hear the faint sounds of music coming from behind the walls. The bartenders looked to be cleaning their respective stations and some were restocking for the intermission break. A man is talking to one of the said bartenders, but at Charles's entrance he breaks off the conversation and approachs.
"Charles Black? I am Kalos. If you will follow me, I will take you to Ms. Torsione."
Without waiting for an answer he turned and led Charles into the backrooms of the theater. Moments and multiple turns later he came to an open door. Kalos knocked softly on the brace to grab the attention of the woman hunched over the desk and then motioned for Charles to enter. Once he had, he closed the door behind him.
Twist didn't look up at the knock but did start to tuck papers into a neat pile. Once she had finsihed, she glanced up, revealing that the upper half of her mask was covered with a simple white silk mask.
"Good evening Mr. Black."

"I'm sorry I was told I was going to see Miss. Twist" slightly confused he was assuming that Torsione was a cover name but he was not going to take chances.

Twist gave a smile and motioned for Charles to have a seat.
"That is me. I've found that it is difficult to have people take you seriously with a name such as mine, so to the kine I am Ms. Torsione. It avoids the asking of many questions that I don't want to answer. Now Mr. Black- who do you call family, friends and why exactly have you come to Sacramento?"

Charles bowed and said "good evening lady Twist" and then sat down "well I am Invictus Daeva the reason why I came here was because my former home as in New Orleans but with the hurricanes specially after Katrina life has gotten hard for the kindred there so I moved here."

Twist's voice was pleasant and calm as she replied to his answers. "Invictus- that means that Icarus is your covenant head. I happen to be your clan head as well." She frowned as she processed his next couple of words.
"New Orleans? Tell me Mr. Black- what do you know about plants." Her voice was suddenly very flat and serious, her eyes fixed on him.

"plants?" Charles thought "what the hell she getting at."
Charles honestly confused by the question says
"I...don't know anything about plants. I was not much of a gardener and about Icarus... I called him and he hung up on me at the word Invictus..."
Charles knew he must have messed up when he talked to Icarus but he new if he was going to get introduced in this city he would have to be up font with this.

Twist stared intently at Charles for a long moment before blinking and breaking the moment.
"We are currently dealing with an influx of uninvited guests in the city who are leaving nasty flowers that drain their kindred guests. There was an idea that the flowers come from New Orleans, hence the question. As for Icarus- " she quirked a wry smile at the man across from her.
"Try calling and going about it the same way you went about it with Kalos. Avoid obvious kindred only refrences. The less related the better. Now- since you got ahold of me first, you get to hear the rundown of rules from me. Considering where you are coming from I suggest that you heed them well.
The Masquerade is the Law and will be kept. Childer will not be sired without permission. The destruction of a Kindred's property will be met with grave consequences. Death to a Kindred by the hands of another Kindred is forbidden, unless it is by the hands of the Sherrif or Hounds. Police enforcement, fire-fighters, EMTs, any and all hospital employees are all under a no touch order. This means no feeding, no ghouling and as stated before- no embracing. No Kindred Shall charge boons to direct new members of the city to the people they need to speak with to get acknowledged within the city limits. No Kindred shall present Rose, or any derivative there-in, as a gift to the Prince at any gathering of Kindred. Attendance to court is not mandatory but failure to make three courts in a row shall cause the loss of all rights within the city and the individual will again need to be presented to the Prince. On any given Friday the 13th a Kindred within the city is expected to throw the Prince a Galla of a brand new theme. This theme cannot repeat itself ever. The rack is located in downtown Sacramento if you so require it."
She ended and gave Charles a moment to absorb the info she had just dumped on him.
"Any questions?"

"yes what does the Prince have against roses? and also I apologies for making such a foolish mistake on me part when talking to Mr. Icarus it shall not happen again."
he made a small bow in his seat he then waited a moment and then he asked
"what is Icarus's number? if he is a true Invictus and a smart man he would have changed his number after a mistake like that. finally when is the next court session and how shall I be informed for others in the future?"
Charles knew that these were a lot of questions but he wanted to be sure about these things before he left.

Twist waved her hand dismissivly at his first question. "I don't know but he doesn't want them, therefore- we don't give them. You can try asking someone who has been in the city longer than I, they may know.
The next court session will be announced through the Elysium's most likely. I don't know if the date has yet to be set. Simply keep tabs on the Elysium hot spots - they will tell you."
She pulled out a piece of paper and wrote down the number she had for Icarus, and handed it to him. She then waited to see if he had anything else to question.

Charles took the paper and slipped it into his pocket and then stood.
"I have no other questions Lady Twist. I shall not wast another moment of your night thank you for your time, and I look forward to meeting you again."

Twist stood as well and dipped her head in farewell to the man.
"Welcome to Sacramento Charles. And if you need anything- please feel free to come to me." She let a smile flow across her face, full of everything that it meant to be Daeva.
As he exited the room he saw Kalos waiting to lead him back to the theater entrance.

before leaving the room Charles Bowed graceful and with respect to Twist and says "It is a Pleasure to be here" and returns the smile she gave him. he then leaves the room.
