West sees several sets of foot prints on the grass, but one fresh one leading north. You believe you could follow them, at least for a while. You realize that no person moving at regular speed could have made this many in such a short time. This is your guy.

West pulls out his phone and takes a picture of the footprint.
It's just a footprint, but may it may be useful later. I might be able to catch the guy, but I'm no tracker, especially not accelerated. He's had enough of a head start that his kinetic 'wake' is probably gone.
Sighing, he stood back up after taking the picture and headed back to the others.
Fuck it. Might as well help Dex clean up.

With a little "convincing", Dex manages to keep the kidnapping off of the cops reports, though Kai's costume description will certainly make Sacramento's most wanted on the news, but this was expected.
"Ankh, I'm glad you spotted that sniper. I have no idea what would have happened if you hadn't. This would have been a much worse scene. Kai says he's dropping the guy off with the guardians. I don't envy the guy, but I think you will have to follow up pretty closely to learn anything. As for me, I have been called out of Sacramento, along with my cabal. I'm not sure what's going on, but apparently we are needed elsewhere." you can see there's more than a little bitterness in his voice. "I wish you good luck. It's been an honor. I can certainly see how you guys are the premier cabal everyone has talked you up as being."

West takes the list and thanks Dex.
Although he feels uneasy and a bit guilty about the way things have turned out for the Kruegans, it might be for best. He still wasn't thrilled about the evening at Avalon.
West texts Kai back to let him know that everything is going well and that they might have a lead.
"You ready to head out?" he asks Ankh, looking at her with some curiosity to see what she thought of the afternoon.
