Gus minimizes his flash game as he heard someone coming down the stairs.
Uh... yeah sure, I can dig around on that. That umm is an odd thought, but so far about the only logical way to connect it. I mean a geriatric killer was a stretch. I have been crawling through camera forums on what that blurriness could be. I have not found one single thing to work with though.
The day had been a loss. This would be a fresh start, maybe that what was needed.

"So I'm thinking of looking through high school photos, or maybe even sac state. Its the only lead we've got, we're going to chomp on this. I'm going to go tell Vanessa, you start that search processor going."
Joe runs back upstairs, he finally has SOMETHING that makes sense.
"Vanessa, we got a little bit of a break. The guy is Japanese, around 17 or so. Perhaps someone knows him at one of the religious places?" *Joe ponders for a moment* "what religion are Japanese people?"
"Religion. Old people... I wonder. Keep on the trail vanessa, i'll be right back!" Joe heads back downstairs to the men's locker room and takes out the files hidden in the fire-hose. He begins looking through the files on the murders from the last time, and looks up the name of the investigator. Maybe he'll have something.

The name of the origional investigator is Detective Brian Wayne, who died five years after the murder started of a drug overdose.

Gus looks through the old case for anything with an Asian flare. He also looks carefully for any connections to Chinatown, the two blocks boarded by 3rd, 5th, J, and I Streets. Maybe this will yield some better results.
The father son thing seemed to fit, but why are they still hooked on an Asian? They sure seem to put a lot of faith into what that charlatan said.

He notices that he's actually walked himself to Gus' office.
*Strange that* he thought to himself.
"So, any luck on the Japanese guy? My source says that its a high probability that he's of japanese decent, who has become americanized, judging from the haircut. Also, where is the records room? I'm going to go look up the detective on the old case. He's dead, but maybe I can find out about his relatives or something to go on."

Unfortynatly, Joe can only find one relative of the deceased Detective. A dughter who lives in Northern Cali.
