 The Tur, a break, and a meeting

Taylor approached the Tur.
It was the afternoon. Nice evening. He had wanted to cook out doors today.
And he needed questions answered.
He quickly began cooking a decent sized pot of stew on one of the barbecues.

As he speaks the word, some of his pent-up rage slips into his voice. He is silent for several seconds as he reigns in his emotions.
"I'm sorry. They murdered my family, and the wounds are still fresh. What is the status here?"

Taylor lets out a long sigh, trying to gather his thoughts on the situation.
"Not good."
He dishes himself some of the food.
"At best they are very well entrenched here. We have just begun to return. They out number us and have been interacting with the spirits for quite awhile. They also control all the territory past the river. I have been told it is death to venture there."

Matthew helps himself to some of the food, suddenly realizing that he hasn't eaten since morning. Between bites, he replies, "It fits with my dream, although I had hoped the disparity was not quite as extreme as you just described. My dream also indicated that the full force arrayed against us is unknown. Perhaps there are other enemies we need to be worrying about?"
Matthew sighed. He knew that he had a long, hard road ahead of him.

"I am going to put effort into dealing with them slowly. They have had too long to build a power base. Disassembling that base will take some time. While I am dea;ling with that I also have to hunt down some of those damn rat creatures that seem to be killing people."

"Well there is a pack that controls the north east area. A veteran pack that has control of the southern area. Then there is me and one other if he shows up to hold the Western half. Unless you wish to join. Then we would be three and there are a few un-affiliated wolves running around also.

"I met him during a recent gathering. He seemed agreeable. He works as a park ranger I believe. This is a loose affiliation. So we can try and make something stronger then the sum of it's parts."
Taylor finishes off his bowl of stew.
"If he shows up tonight we should discuss a name and some other business."
Taylor looks around for Sentry.
I have questions, I need someone who has been here for a time. Maybe someone who did some scouting. I should get into contact with the Justicars.

Matthew suddenly realizes that his bowl has been empty for some minutes. He must have been really hungry. Seeing Eternal Sentry, he thinks to himself, when it rains, it pours. Extending his hand to the newcomer, he says "I don't believe we've met. Matthew Greene."

After replaying Sentry's words in his mind for a full minute, he finally manages to unravel her words, suddenly realizing that she answered all three of Taylor's questions in the negative in a mere seven words. The bulk of her answer seemed to refer to the spirits, but he is not sure. This woman is as difficult to understand as my dreams, but she almost certainly knows more than she lets on. I hope that she does not treat my question in the same way as Taylor's.
