Doctor Roberts sees his opening and grabs hold of his opponent, forcing his sword arm away, and they begin to struggle.

His fingers graze Robert's shirt and his eyes roll back into his head.

He's not going to win this fight... head swimming, he knows that there's only one thing he can do.
"You can still s-s-s-save her..." He sputters. "Not for long though, oh she's b-b-bleeding soooo bad. She'll die... d-die if you don't."
Simon looks Roberts straight in the eyes
"You can still save her if you go right now."

Doctor Roberts is loathed at the idea of letting this guy go but knows that if he's telling the truth and he lets Maria die he'll never be able to live with him self.
"45 follow him if he tries to leave"
At this Doctor Roberts breaks of the grapple and rushes up stairs.

45 groans in response,
"Doc you know he's gonna run... fine, I'll chase after him."
Roberts barely makes it to the fourth step when suddenly it's as if a veil of silence is lifted. A faucet is running upstairs, and as he turns the corner he sees a horrible sight.
Blood everywhere, Maria's crumpled form lies on the floor. Roberts is horrified to see that her head is actually STUCK THROUGH the bathtub. Stuck as if the porcelain was actually molded around her neck, and the running bathwater has nearly begun to submerge her face.

Scene ends.
The front door was sealed shut by the time Roberts came back downstairs, like a hand print squeezed into the wood of the door frame. An electrical outlet had burst into flame, but he quickly had put it out before it had a chance to spread.
When Dex and the other Arrows arrived, they found Maria alive but severely wounded and the Apostate Rhino dead in the tiny basement.
45 has yet to return.
